I've got one game on my B'day/Chrissy wishlist - CC'09 =D

I tried the trial, and it's AWESOME.

Played as Australia in the Ashes, after a small T20 series I made (all in the first day) (got owned in the T20 - Won 2 matches, then got littered =( ), and in the first match was close - Aus 450 and 220 ish, to English 300 and 340.

2nd,Smashed 700 to 200, 300.

3rd, 4th and fifth were awesome, too.

It's just so much fun watching your team get the boundaries or the wickets.

the cricket captain games are marvellous. i had the 2001 version and i was with the indian team and took them to like season 2030, winning in every country possible. i love how u can find new talent and get their stats up. i hope they keep making this sim!

the 2009 one is coming out soon... wonder if they'll update the graphics and bowling actions i reckon thats all they need. As for the roster this game has the most diverse roster EVER... it kicks ass.

A truly awful game...i love the ICC series but tbh the graphics havent moved on much from the first ICC...i thought there was something worng with my graphics card when i first played this game...the other features in the game have got worse sine the first one such as no player photos and glitchy/buggy graphics, they could have done much better with this game

wat i meant was the graphics and gameplay is better in cricket 2007.playing cricket 2007 is more fun than this game. u need common sense to understand this!! there is nothing like not knowing cricket.!

This game seriously shits me off some times.

You can skittle a team for 145 then WTF your openers on fully agressive score 0-124 you lose 56 (167) 68 (138).. fuck it shits me sometimes.

Batsman can go about 80 or 90 balls before they start scoring in one dayers on fully agressive with the little bat ticked.

the worst game ive ever played, all u do is the same old crap pushing how agressive u want your batsman? wtf get a life game designers we want to PLAY not stand on the sidelines & hope our batsmen beat other teams. This was so poor designed it reminds me of an earlier version of cricket 05' graphics. Shocking, dont waste your money of this rip off piece of shit, invest in cricket 07 its way better & more rewarding!!!

Are you stupid mate, this is a management game, this is supposed to be a game where you are the player, this is just another management game like football manager and by the way cricket 07 is a rubbish game the brian lara series is a much much better game if you want to be the player in the game rather than the manager or coach. So mate shut up as this is a top quality for managing a cricket squad and is something different to play for a change.

You don't actually bowl, but you control the bowlers,  fields, line, length, aggression etc.

When the chains are together it means the batsmen play with the same amount of aggression regardless of who's bowling. If you break the chain they play each bowler to how you set it.

it looks good but i'm sticking to ICC 3 because it £10 cheaper, almost exactly the same graphics as it apart from keepers and slips diving and leaning for catches which is hardly any different. But upgraded databases are always good.
