Does anyone know when this was taken? It has to be after 2004 since he's not shooting an Axis and his shirt is the current Australia Team shirt. My guess is 2005-2006, can anyone confirm this?

Yeah its definately after 2004, probably during 2007 where the Australian team lost to team GB in the gold medal match in Varese, Italy.

Unfortunately no, but I do remember the Hoyt website once saying Dave shot the highest men's fita by a western archer with an aerotec(1366?).

My guess is at his level, Dave can shoot anything really well and maybe he switched for a different feel?
