yeah, she was originally ment to be a character, but then midway decided there wasn't enough new characters so they took her out, and added tanya, but since they used her spirit in kangs ending they left her in the game, you have to use a game shark to play her

What's up with all the bullshit comments about this being fake? Kitana IS playable in the N64 version of the game if you own a cheat device. She is an unfinished character, so she is not really meant to be there, but Midway did not remove her, unfinished, data. There are plenty of games where you can use codes to manipulate what data is on the disc to get new characters or to play as bosses that normally aren't selectable.

Heh, you can see for Tanya they made Kitana's skin darker and made her outfit blue. Which is probably why they didn't use this Kitana model in Gold.

actully, this is mk4 because kitana's oufit looks like tanya, kitana barrowed fatalities, and the graphics in mk gold are much more sharppend & have more detail. in the n64 version, she's a secret charater. she's Unlockable if you have a gameshark code

I see Kitana from N64 version has moves similar to Sonya, but Kitana from PC version has only a few moves similar to Tanya.

Kitana 64 has her legendary fan weapon, but Kitana PC has a curved knife.

So, for me Kitana from MK4 for 64 is better - nearer to end.

Looking closer, the floor is made up of Goro's Lair tiles, and the skull wall in the back is never seen in the actual game. About my previous statement, the stage actually takes place in a larger skull (The skull torches you see during 0:08, to be exact. An easy way to tell is because the skull seems to face inwards, like many polygons when viewed from the inside in early games.)

The skull stage seems like a half-assed stage that takes place inside a 3-d skull (possibly Scorpion's, but his doesn't have actual holes where his eyes are, so it must be something else.)

As for everything else, the fire is from the well, and the torches are from Goro's Lair.

Also, you forgot to tell them about the music glitches. It does play Living Forest, but the second round loops the 'finish him!' music from the stage.

Also when someone wins, it starts playing the Well's music.
