I think El Salvador & Salvadorans need to cut political and economic ties with the US and think for themselves--- go back to their currency, PRODUCE everything they did before CAFTA and TLC. That's the only way they can get out of poverty.
Jobs in El Salvador are very low paying & serve corporate interests. Once a corporation finds cheaper production costs they leave the and thousands are jobless...Return to Agriculture!

Man, what the fuck happened to my people!? We used to be farmers who could cultivate anything at anyplace at anytime, from cotton and coffee, to maize and indigo. Even when we were oppressed by the oligarchs, we still took pride in the fruits of our labor. I understand the need to help the family with remittances, but from what I'm seeing and what I've heard, it sounds like these remittances weren't such a great idea after all. My people need to have some pride and stop being so dependent.

Your comments are just insults and statements w/out evidence, there's nothing that supports them.
