I gotta say this trailer kinda sucks lol. The music's a little cheesy and the Uncover the truth behind the mystery is kinda cheesy. Not to mention none of the trailer is gameplay it's all cut scenes and some of it's not even in the actual game.

The game however is actually quite amazing. If you can get over the crappy gun play and some clunky controls you will throughly enjoy this game, time and time again.

@EmCourtney I agree. The shooting could have used some work but that's what sequels are for right? It still holds one of the most memorable moments in a video game for me when you get the syringe and super jump out of the vent. It was like "Yeah. Now I'm about to kick some ass." The hand to hand was solid too which is something most FPS have yet to accomplish (FEAR tries.)

I remember when I started playing this game, I got to the courtyard when you get out of that very first building in the game (is it a hospital?), and thought it was boring. A few years later, when the 360 was out, I played it again, got immersed in it, and beat it two days later. An amazing game. Hopefully some company will try to remake it, because although it was an awesome game, some of the controls and gameplay elements were horrible. I hope one day to see a movie.

An underrated game, I was completely blown away when I played this for the first time.

I still remember the beginning when you eat the burger, vomit and then pass out. The reason I remember it is because the gameplay and camera all act as it would in real life.

There's only a handful of games which have this kind of realism.

@sortedevaras I know yeah. The game did have it's flaws but it's unique story and sheer originality made it very easy to overlook them. Ideas from it were stolen to be used in newer games like the sidekick alex who was used in half life 2 and the first person combat was implemented in mirror's edge. With a sequel breakdown could have improved on it's flaws and been on par with the likes of half life 2. The ending even left it open for a sequel that never was to be!

Just borrowed this game from a friend recently.....it has its flaws, but man...the First person immersion, characters, and story just drive me towards, blindly ignoring the difficulty and few FPS Camera issues.

Man I love this game. I wish the sales weren't so poor...I would have loved for a sequel to come out.

The only way that this game would ever have a sequel would be if Hollywood bought the rights to make a live action movie. And if the success of the movie at the box office came in just as high as Spiderman 3 if not higher. Also Dreamworks could make a CGI based animated film. That would kick ass if it was like 80 minutes long.

In a sense, it's justified. Namco only focused on rushing the game out for spring, and didn't even bother test-playing the damn thing. Sluggish controls, brain-dead A.I. for both allies and enemies, and a retarded targetting system pissed me off multiple times. I've beaten the game, and the game could have been better quality-wise.

I know, Namco really needs to release a sequel. It would be awesome on the 360! Unfortunately, after massive mailing of the GameFAQs community, Namco made it know that there won't be a sequel. But they did say they would work on a game based on the same engine/gameplay (of course it will be a new and improved next-gen engine).
