  • ahhhh the memories. :)

  • Thank you for posting. Now i crave a bowl of good homemade Menudo!!

  • Awesome! canning the menudo is an awesome idea. Looks delicious, this is the way I make it. And I will make the chile paste next time to save time..THANK YOU!!!

  • so just because i'm white this means i'm not supposed to cook enchiladas y arroz con gandules? or maybe tamales? or albondigas? or mofongo? and my kids who have a half spanish dad but are white as can be loooove tostones. oh but since i'm white i'm not supposed to make this stuff? i hate ignorant ass people like you leaving these comments. you really have nothing positive ever coming out your mouth so why don't you just shut the fuck up.

  • the only difference in ours is we use scissors to cut the tripe up lol its faster and we use Williams chili powder but we love to try it your way Wow it looks so good Thanks for posting!

  • There are white looking Mexicans out there. Myself included. Latinos have variations on making certain foods. In the end taste is what matters and not race of the cook................JS

  • Thank you for this video!! I had never made menudo and I was absolutely clueless about how. All your recipes were awesome and my menudo came out delicious!! :)

What I did different was I added alittle menudo spice for a kick and jalepeno juice. I like spivey food so it was perfect.

  • heres a tip coock the feet separate.if you add it with the tripe it will come out thick and sticky. when coocking the feet drain after coocked and boil them again for 15 minutes it will get rid of most of the stickyness from fat. then just simply put coocked feet in your menudo bowl and enjoy.

  • My Grandpa and my Papa where white and native from Mexico!!!! Ignorance is bliss!

  • HEB

  • just like that? i will try it!!!!! thanks!!!!

  • Loved the video! this is how i make mine also :) thanks for sharing

  • What kind of chillies are those. Looks good!!!

  • @187gizmo He used ancho chiles

  • Great video!!! My sister-in-law makes her menudo similar to this, but she also adds Caldo de Pollo for more flavor. You're right, you don't have to strain the chile anchos if it's a paste. I find that chile ancho tastes better than california chili pods, so I'm glad you use chile anchos for your recipe. I'm making menudo for Christmas and will be using your recipe. Thanks for sharing! =)

  • this is a great recipe thanks for sharing

  • Man that looks delicious.

  • Balla!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DUDE! THIS ABUELO ES AWESOME...he dont need abuelita doin his cookin! :)

  • Looks good...but is the guy making it mexican...cause he looks too white to use his recipe

  • @rbumpus1 what does "white" have to do with it? its a recipe for "Mexican" menudo and one of the most authentic ones out there. You don't have to be Mexican to make it.... C/S

  • @rbumpus1 excuse me? and who cares if he is mexican or not? i am 100% mexican and he can cook menudo better then me let me tell you that! he did a very good job on making the menudo and that all there is to it!.

  • Yummy!

  • 1. You don't strain the peppers if you are making a chile paste which is what is being done.

    2. you might add epasote to your menudo but i prefer oregano. Much better tasting and more traditional.

i have not seen your menudo recipe online, maybe you can share it with everyone...

  • Also, never add the water from the boiled chili peppers, add the caldo from the menudo, makes it extra delicious.

  • Yes you are supposed to strain the peppers! and you add epasote, not oregano. If you want oregano you put in in your plate not the whole pot!

  • This is the real deal fellas! Just make sure you strain the peppers! Dang It looks delicious! I need to make me some! Good simple video, Thanks!

  • Thats how u make menudo, not like the other dumb asses on youtube,

  • I love menudo!! It's the best hangover food!! lol the only thing I don't like is the pig feet. my dad uses it too but I just don't care for it but this video is very good!!
