Anderson won the fight he gets to make any excuse he wants... Sure silva spent the fight on the bottom but chael sonnen never came close to ending the fight. I love Silva and am one of those that believes he is legitimately the pound for pound best fighter in the UFC. I do want to say one thing though, Sonnen was not on Steroids as some of you keep stating. He was diagnosed with hypogonadism in 2008 and takes synthetic testosterone injections twice a week due to this condition. Also, he beat the hell out of Silva for 5 rounds, knocked him down twice, and dominated that match. Don't count him out.

@levedia How is it a fluke that a BJJ black belt submitted a fighter who has weak submission defense and has been submitted 8 times? If you knew anything about the sport, you'd know that it's not a fluke or luck to catch someone in a triangle/armbar combo. Chael tapped and with that, he admitted defeat. Also, if you actually watched the fight, you'd know that there was also almost 2 minutes left not 8 seconds. To top it off, Chael tested positive for steroids for that fight.

He got anxious and wanted to win decisively and tried to go for KOs instead of just stalling till decisiion like he could have and thats what cause him the match. W/e tho even if he did win it woulda been scrapped cause he failed that drug test

i don't know what fight you guys were watching, but where exactly was the part where Sonnen actually did any damage? lucky shot in the first round. Silva was ready to knock out Sonnen in the 4th until Silva slipped and Sonnen took him down. Sonnen can wrestle and hold Silva down, but that doesn't hurt. Silva will win again because this isn't WWE where pinning someone gets u a championship.

I love Silva and am one of those that believes he is legitimately the pound for pound best fighter in the UFC. I do want to say one thing though, Sonnen was not on Steroids as some of you keep stating. He was diagnosed with hypogonadism in 2008 and takes synthetic testosterone injections twice a week due to this condition. Also, he beat the hell out of Silva for 5 rounds, knocked him down twice, and dominated that match. Don't count him out.
