i like this one all the other ones were compacted redstone and im like "what..."

this one i looked at it saw the and gates, repeaters, inverters and im going "hey now this is redstone i know how to do, i can do this too!"

Actualy yes it is. The switches are the binary part, 1 is for on and 0 is for off (just like in a real computer).

So if the 4 switches are lined up in this order:

0001 the decimal number 1 will be displayed and etc.

It works as a binary converter.

@turinpt2 question. Did you make set 'methods' that displayed the number then basically added the binary powers together and if = say 1, linked it to the display 1 circuit? I can't see any other way you could have done this

@Fastmn25 ofc it is binary. the switches present the first 4 numbers of the binary language. if the switch is up it is a 0 if the switch is down it is a 1. so you can make 0001 = 1, 0010 = 2, 0011 = 3, 0100 = 4, 0101 = 5, 0110 = 6, 0111 = 7, 1000 = 8, 1001 = 9. and he can't make higher numbers.
