The pawpaws have larger seeds so it doesn't work unless you make modifications to the spiral. According to a recent article from the Pawpaw Foundation at KSU you need to use a grape screen and a pumpkin spiral and then cut off an inch of the spiral at the end. I have not tried this. I would check with their website. Cutting off the spirals on other fruits I tried to Roma process in a certain way did not always give the desired results. The seeds have a thick coating on them too.

I have a question about the roma food strainer. I see that it works well on the persimmons, but how about on pawpaws?
