  • Well, you had me right up until you spoke of preserving the knowledge of our Democracy at the end. How can you claim any authority in American history, or the right to educate others in our history, if you don't know that we aren't and never have been a democracy? The Unites States is a Republic, and for good reason. Our founders understood that it is easy for a demogogue to inflame popular passion, and for that reason, we have ALWAYS elected representatives.

  • very intresting:O)

  • Your report of 1500 interpreters is not exactly true. You reported on the day that hundreds of VOLUNTEERS paid their way to come portray Williamsburg under British Occupation.

Williamsburg also has a several dozen PAID staff who are there full time and interpret to the public. They are active sometimes. All the activity you reported on here happens at UNDER THE REDCOAT - which is at the end of June.

    Great video though.
