@felfy111 You are going to have to keep searching...they do not make the product anymore but it is really cool. I still use mine today. So sorry you are having a hard time finding one. Maybe you can find one on Ebay.

@chason113009 The product is really amazing. If you find one you should pick it up because it is so easy to create digital files to put on your mobile devices. The product only conncects via composite or S-video...Hdmi is overkill because most of the things you are watching will be on a little sceen.

so much interlacing lines with this pinnacle video transfer

it doesnt work, I have the VCR turned on playing the tape, all wires connected properly and firmly and an USB flash drive (empty) and when I press Mode the USB flash drive light turns blue within a second but the other lights turns off, then even after 20 seconds they never turn back on blue. When pressing record on the thing the lights starts flashing red (except the flash drive one). What am I doing wrong? I followed the exact same steps than in this video

enter flash stick after you turn it on. it might be looking for firmware (which i recommend you update).

@DJOmnimaga  did you update the firmware when you got it cuz your ment to put the latest firmware on flash drive then put in the flash stick in the videoo transfer and it should stay red the all light will light up blue then take it out then it should work pm if you neeed more help :)

you cant use a portable hard drive with no self power suppy can you....

Yes you can. I use a portable Verbatim Drive and it is powered through the Pinnacle Video Transfer.

So i use this to capture my xbox 360 gaming videos and recently i got a new hdtv, and now it's not working to capture my gaming ( I'm putting it in regular quality red, yellow, white, i'm not using hd when i'm trying to capture).

If only it could archive your VHS tapes without you having to play every single one while recording... Unless there's some kind of fast-forward feature, but I can' imagine that'd halve the frame rate.
