  • what a nice car i love it!!

  • Looks like you're running about a 1:28 lap. Nicely done!

  • tuned at riegal ?!

  • @havok1919

No. The car was on a dyno at Tecmotion though. Mostly street tuned with wideband.

  • Hi, the boost gauge came from some WWII era twin engine plane which was supercharged. One pointer is hooked up to show the boost measured before the throttle plate, the other pointer measures the boost after the throttle. I hooked it up this way so I could measure the pressure loss across the butterfly. I eventually installed a 76mm butterfly instead of the stock one which was 65mm which reduced the restriction by about 1.25 psi.

Fun car, running on really old hard race slicks.

  • That's an interesting boost gauge you have there.

  • very very cool, I wish it was easier to find those. Thanks for replying!

  • What is the boost gauge?

  • I wonder what brand the gauge is that replaced the factory clock? I've tried finding one online but haven't had any luck.

    Great video!!

  • BOOST run!

  • happy whit the sds??

    I have EM4F that i shall have on a volvo 2.3engine..

    nothing big. about 3-400hp

  • Yes, he is happy. I'm the owner/developer of SDS, and I am also involved in motorsports locally helping run a race series.. I offer to help all local customers whenever possible, so I usually do ride alongs with them to help them out.

  • can't wait to try it out :)

i bougth the sds 4years ago.. but things take time.. maybe im finish on the engine next year hehe

  • gotta love that red 'fasten your seatbelt' light going off..

  • It looks like it's wired into the brake lights...

  • WHat setup are using for the suspension? That's pretty trick how you moved through the infield without barely slowing down.

  • wow, 1630 egt is close to melt down

  • The egt began lower and continuously slowly climbed all the way down the straight.

  • cool* vid,

    janok

  • The boost gauge is measuring boost taken above and below the throttly butterfly. 1630 is the exhaust gas temperature. (Vipers remain in the mirrors)

  • sorry man....if me and my dad passed you with our blue 06 viper a few dozen times.

  • What's with the gauge on the right? Is that a combination manifold pressure gauge and turbo pressure gauge?

  • dual gauge. 1 needle before the throttle plate, 2nd is the intake. This way you can see pressure drop across the throttle plate, and see if its a restriction at high power.

  • Is it just me, or is that a dual needle boost gauge in the car?

  • I could not make out the what his buddy was saying about "1630"...

  • EGT

  • Sweet, was a vicious machine! The early 930's

    were the real deal.

  • He was looking at the engine vitals. Making sure there are no problems with over heating, or detonation. Looking at the air & fuel ratio to keep the engine safe from meltdown.

  • What do you suppose his buddy was looking at on the display there?
