Actually the original plan was that Jerusalem was going to be international/Arab city.

That was until the Arabs attacked the Jews in 1948 and Israel won the war in 1948 and when the Arabs attacked again in 1967, Israel won the war again.

So to answer your question, it wasn't supposed be shared originally and why should Israel share it if Israel conquered it after being attacked.

Does it seem right that they Arabs can start a war, lose and complain about the consequences?

I was just saying why Jerusalem should not be "shared".

The wars in 1956 and 1973 didn't have anything to do with Jerusalem officially.

But yes, its the same principle. The Arabs attacked, lost and complain.

The funny thing is the Arabs think they won in 1973.

They celebrate their "victory" 3 days after the war started.

They "forget" the 2 weeks that followed.

Its as if the Nazis would celebrate winning WW2 saying that 1944 and 1945 never happened.
