  • i beg for HD :D

  • angela lindvall is so gorgeous

  • This is couture, not that shit I saw this week

  • god .. Karlie Kloss would wear this collection soooo good : O

    love it :)

  • please, what's the name of the remixed music that started in 6:10?

    Amazing looks!

There is something of aristotocrat a kind of hedonistic glamor on the Galliano's creations

  • The third dress is amazing! Of course the rest of the collction is to :)

  • Divine extravagance! This was beyond beautiful. Galliano, in whom I deeply admire, is a true artist and is absolutely untouchable.

  • what is this shit what normal person would wear that outside

  • @LuniaVideo couture is like you design it if you like this or that take that away people pay a small fortune for these clothes which they are the only one in the world so its yours and the sample the show is just like a show for the fun of it because the customers are billionaires around the world

  • @LuniaVideo you will never understand.

  • @jimmyjk08 Yeah, I guess I'm just not pretentious enough to understand. :(

    I'll manage somehow.

  • @LuniaVideo its not a case of being pretentious. its just a case of realising that these pieces are more like art than everyday clothes.

  • @LuniaVideo

if you must see haute couture as a regular product, try to picture this as just the ad. for artistic effect, things are exaggerated but the final product is what you see on the red carpet, for instance. charlize theron has wore dior hc more than once.

nowadays haute couture is pure art, for its own sake. it doesn't need justification, and people that ask 'what is this shit' wouldn't get it anyways. you don't ask that about something that had 100s of hours of work put into it.

  • @abracathingy dont overdue doesn't take 100s hours to make a haute couture gowns....unfortunatly take a 100s thousand people to make one..

  • @sanos2007 I wasn't overdoing anything. I read about Chanel, Givenchy and other label gowns taking hundreds of hours to be made by extremely able seamstresses. they don't have just anyone doing them and obviously the designer has to overlook the whole process.

  • @abracathing

did you ever make a haute couture gown on your own?if is yes you should know if is not shut up ..and don t talk nonsense just because you red about it....I have been making on my own for 20 years and doesn't take it that long to do it..

  • @sanos2007 making a dress doesnt make it couture.

you don't get to tell me to shut up, okay? I was respectful.

not trying to offend you or anything, but look at the dresses out there.

some of them have hand-sown sequins or other embellishments, which obviously take a long time.

and the point is that is still takes a lot, the fact that 100s of people work on a dress for 50 hours(example), it just means there was 100 people each working that many hours, not that the dress takes less time.

  • @abracathingy you are stupid as usually people are when they dont know what they are talking about..let me refresh your brain..does not take 100s hours to make a haute couture gown..make a post in your brain and stop talking nonsense..capisci?

  • @sanos2007 wtf where the hell do you get off you b!tch?!

doesn't calling a person that you do not know stupid, make YOU stupid, you horrible tr0ll?

  • @abracathingy to call someone stupid you don t have to know the person...you can tell for the stupid things that he said...so idiot..before speaking think and if you answer think twice.stupidity is the worse sickness .

  • @sanos2007 you should know about stupidity.

also, worsT, because you weren't comparing it with anything.

I'm not even going to correct all your other mistakes, teaching english to idiots for free is not on my bucket list.

also don't bother replying, I know I won't read it.

  • It is a dream, I like it very much.

  • This, to me, is the ultimate haute couture. absolutely stunning

  • 1:24 careful giselle. lol

  • Classic romanticism and deep sensations... we are lead to a fascinant world.... high elegance and candy glamour, exquisite. Congratulations.

  • John Galliano is the ABSOLUTE best!!!

  • Best show ever!Thanks a lot!

  • check out my designs if u like high fashion like this

  • THE SHOES! FANTASTIC! The entire collection... Superb.

  • Comment removed

  • @Aussiize Silence is Sara MacLachlan is it not?

  • And Delirium I believe.

  • please tell me the name of song are great

  • most of these clothes even look fraggin cool! I like 20s^^

  • I watched this video a while ago and have been in love with fashion ever since.

If women in real life dressed this elegantly, they'd be very powerful!

Raquel's first pose at 1:16 made my jaw drop the first time I saw this video :-)

THIS IS ART THIS IS FASHION THIS IS LOVE

  • @RYANTUCKER4 Oh Ryan! Bless you! This is not art nor fashion! All this is crap. Take Vivienne Westwood, add Thierry Mugler, then add Dior = John Galliano and Drag Queens! Its Horrid!

Fashion + Art = Lanvin and Givenchy. Time less, pure class!

  • @Thesaeed23 Ironic that you said that because honestly I've been really turned off of Dior & John Galliano lately.(I wrote that 5 months ago.) I agree, Vivienne Westwood is crap. Alber and Tisci are fashion & art.

  • @RYANTUCKER4 Oh I love you Rayan! :-) When I was very young I bought nothing but Westwood and Mugler but it dated so quickly. Now I buy timeless pieces. I have bought a beautiful black suit by Tisci!

  • @Thesaeed23 - I love shirts, pants, ties (HATE t shirts and jeans, so ugly) I wear a black suit with a white shirt quite often (sometimes with a black tie) people always think I'm up to something...but no I just dress well. Some fat girl wearing a nasty hoody with slippers TO THE MOVIES stopped me and asked "OMG WHY ARE YOU WEARING A TUXEDO?" I said "It's a suit, not a tuxedo" and walked off. I am fighting ugly casual shit...

  • @RYANTUCKER4 ...Ignore them ! They are silly/ stupid SLOBS who dont know what the hell they are talking about and have no respect for themselves- which is exemplified by the way that they choice to present themselves in public ! ...I'll go to the movies w/ you anytime my friend !

  • @RYANTUCKER4 this is all very true but women would also have to already BE very powerful in order to afford anything even close to this. but yes you are very right

  • all goddesses that could be worshiped, when they dress like this!

  • anybody know the song name of the one played in the middle (like at 4:30) ????

wayyyyy too much Giselle, but she does look the best I've seen her in this show, just beautiful.

If women dressed like this, they don't realize but they could have men at their feet offering to do anything, and me :-).

  • Whats the starting music?

  • everytime i see this i be about to cry because i can see the love john and the atelier put in these garments

  • Not 1 but 2 brazilians at the beginning of the show haaaa snd you have to give some credit to Gisele she was the supermodel of the recent past generation...

  • Nice but too much Gisele Bündchen on camera...

  • she works the dress and she's amazing, but you're right, some models appear like 3 seconds! :S

  • @teescupounadriatico Because shes the UBERDUPER model with a pose like an hour long in billions of inches heels

  • Gisele is great and all... But why are they making her do sooo much posing? And furthermore, if she's going to stick around on the runway for the entire show, couldn't they give her a nice dress? The one she's wearing is a little on the plain side... At least, by Dior Haute Couture/John Galliano's standards (I'm guessing).

  • Why is Carmen Kass missing? Can anyone tell me?

  • @TheWestHill Karolina Kurkova, Hana Soukupova, and Liya Kebede are all missing as well, even thought they were staples in Dior and Galliano shows

  • Yes.. alot of' 'the girls' are missing.. like Michelle Hicks definitely.. I also heard that John wanted Kate Moss to be a main girl like Linda, Naomi, Gisele and Amber, but, she couldn't make it.. so, who knows why Carmen couldn't.. but, I agree, she is definitely Missing!

  • Gisele <33333

  • gissellehad to sit the longest / pose

  • rofl haha yeh and probabaly bored and hot too caus in one of the scenes, shes fanning herself like crazy, then this other girl comes to pose in front of her and giselle starts posing in the background too

  • @singaporeairlines747 Oh I bet she was soooo tired!!!! She only made hundreds of thousands of dollars. And she didnt pose the entire time, she acted very unprofessional while sitting down, asking people around her questions and then chatting up Naomi like it was fine to see them having a "girlfriend" moment.

  • @BlancheDubois Sorry, who were you referring to?

  • @BlancheDubois thats a part of her character lol.

  • I'm suprised noone passed out! O:

  • Naomi Campbell passed out at the fitting (so she reckons)

  • did gisselle the first one?

  • yes she was

  • gosh i love christian dior haute couture so much, theyre so inspirational

  • i know right?

they're just stunning... full stop ...

  • Dior favors the look of geisha~

  • well in my opinion when i first looked at it... i thought of marie antoinette... and like olden french clothing... but maybe thats just me

  • well maybe you are right, i am just amazed at their make-up. it made their faces look rigid, but in a delicate and fragile way. it resembles geisha so much~~

  • Someone knows the name of the first song in the video??? Thanks for answering

  • hmm...your right Jason, i just checked it out. this is a different version though...

  • Crazy make-up at 3:09

  • are they partners of the luxury shopping deLuxe card?

  • actually...if you look you can see the orchestra playing in the corner of the runway at 1:24

  • adrishakira02 trust me the song was custom done for this show. I have tried EVERYWHERE to get it. months actually...I even contacted Dior themselves and they told me it was done for the show..sorry... I know its amazing

  • I dont think it was just made for this show because this same song was used by Gianni Versace for his Fall/Winter 1994 Fashion Show.

  • @emil1317

not entirely true (if you still care after all that time)

The first song is a remix of the track Harry to the Hospital from the Wild Palms Soundtrack. I uploaded it here:

    /watch?v=gMy_Hvk7cGI

  • @memento81 I do still care actually lol (I know I responded pretty fast but it was sheer coincidence that I was on here three hours after you posted that)...so Thanks!!! ALOT!

  • How is called the music of the beginning ? It is urgent, thanks

  • errm the song was made for this show i think nd the singing was live at the show so i dunno if it is available anywhere... it myt b tho lol

  • the runway looks uber long.. :O

  • if i'm nt wrong its 130m long

  • who know 7: 00 's song ? It's good .

  • arguing on the internet is like the special Olympics even if you win you are still retarded

  • the dress at 3:00 is one of my fav

its simply done with elegant details

i would wear that in a second

  • i love this runway show so much, tnx for uploading

  • Is the first model Gisele?

  • Yes

  • What is the name of the remixed music that started on 6:00?

  • I think Gisele looks great in that outfit. Beautiful.

  • Looks like Joan Crawford :P I love It

  • There's no doubt that Galliano adores Gisele, the proof is that she has openned the runways countless times and being featured in the ad campaigs. They like her energy, and statuesque presence. She's the most succesfull supermodel of all time!!!

  • im srry guys but giselle is sooo soo beautiful but the make up in here kinda make her lok like a drag queen no offense she is gorgeous but here ugh....

  • you´re right, and she overdoes it by acting as if she's solliciting

  • even though i'm not a gisele fan i'm bet u must be fat 2 say such a thing

  • i feed on you! Now, semi seriously, do you think she would be invited if they she was gonna behave like a tart? She´s plain, homely almost!

  • GISELE FAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Are u out of your damn mind! How is she fat. And who cares if she isd a celebrity she is the #1 model in all the world who still makes more than all other models. You are an idiot!

  • you would'nt know a 'real' model even if you bit one. small bites, off course!

  • i happen to be a size 0, and ok, i concede that she's not fat. Now let´s also concede that you´re a fat, rude nincompoop whose manners would give your mother the hives!

  • Just shut up already!

  • They are jealous! Small is better. You look better, feel better and live better!!!!!!!!

  • Thats not the point, Im tell ing her to shut up after she called Gisele fat this is just her respnce to me after I called her on that.

  • agree

i mean its not like the fashion world wants everyone to be super skinny

its just clothes do look better on a skinny form

    and its about marketing

if u put the colthes on a model and it doesnt fit right then whos gonna buy the clothes

  • And get layed more. That Hype person is Greene with envy. Blind as a bat too, she thinks i'm a girl! 05 is the number of 'personal assistants'(her whole family plus the neighbours) that takes to squeeze her into...hmm, something.

  • WOW!

  • That´s...quite articulate..i suppose. WOOFF!, or something

  • Meaning, you said a mouth full! LOL

  • Must have been my foot! I noticed that i was walking funny....

  • So frivilous & fabulous, j'adore x

  • I just so adore the outfit at 4:39 to 4:50.

And the whole matching make-up look

Its one of my most favourite outfits John has done for Dior, outside of his magnificent ballgowns, of course.

Can anybody tell me the cute model's name?

  • Michaela Kocianova :)

  • Thanks, Shiruame, hon

  • /watch?v=fFH0khjgA0U

  • IRINA!!! SHES THE BEST EVER

  • I can honestly say that It was Dior that introduced me into a world of fantasy, free expression, pure art, and fashion..... and we should give John Galliano our thanks for given us that magnificent gift.

  • OMFG !! those shoes !! this show is fabulous !!

  • 4:06 I've never forgotten that amazing blue creation!!!11

  • I LOVEEE that posing area that had set for the girls with the bench and the huge laurels ughhh so awesome

  • Dior is Perfection no one can tip that for sure !

  • Who cares about giselle, the dresses r the stars of the house, each one tells a story, every single dress, creates an emotion, and that's what john tried to remind to us, more than clothes, Haute Couture is a piece of art, that comes to life in a runway show, so stop now this nonsense and let all of this emotions be expressed, cause to the house of Dior, this is the most important thing.

  • Wow, you nailed it! I agree 100%

  • yeah, def.

giselle and the other models are essentially canvases wearing their art.

  • Gisele is the elegance at person...

  • Hahaha sorry but Gisele is hopeless!

  • she doesnt suit walking slow!.... Gisele needs to walk in a fast paced show.. howevr she didnt do that bad! she works her suit impeccably

  • Hi jimmyjk08 how are you?In my opinion Gisele is bad model.little known i recommend you person some guy in "Christian Dior Haute Couture - Spring 2004 (1)" video hehe you answer me third times:):):)

  • so you should walk down the runway tho! Anyone book you yet?

  • I likeeeeeee!!!!

  • Everything about Dior is always perfect!

  • Gisele...that girl can pose!

  • i love giseles suit so much

  • fashion shows always have the best music.

  • those shoes are dangerous

  • does anyone know where u can find the first song or knows the name of it????i really like it

  • love the first 3 songs and of course all of the dress's great show =]

  • Beautiful runway

  • who's the first face? it's not Gisele, is it?

  • yes it is Gisele.

  • oh good feedbags are back in style too

  • what's the name of the first song?

  • I wish I could have seen more of Mariacarla

    =[

    Magdalena was just amazing.

  • this must have been one of ms. fracowiak's first big shows - she is wonderful

  • Where is the original music for this show?

  • This is the original Music from dior

  • What is the first song?

I can't stop trying to find it!

Anyone have any ideas? Sure would be appreciated.

  • john galliano is the designer at dior

  • ah, yea-he's really good! I saw him on the end of this show! I didn't expect him to look the way i though he would look like, before i saw him! xx

  • who made these dresses? There soo lovely-in an outragious way...i wish i could make dresses like those!

  • The Ateliers at dior , it costs a fortune to make even buying the fabric

  • but this is very beautiful very dior. not like has chanel very pret e porter dior is the queen of the couture houses

  • You Must follow my comments about dior , I Love Dior Couture But My Favorite designer is Chanel in every way R-T-W and Couture , and this collection is very beautiful end of

  • d- be very sqared

  • Song at 7:17?

  • the song is called 'silence'by Sarah Mc Lachlan! xx there's a remix too

  • i adore giselle. but here she looks like a drag queen

  • if Gisele looks like drag queen, then what would you look like?

  • hey excuse me it's just my opinion, probably it's just becos of the makeup, i love gisele. so chill

  • And Gisele is worst model of the show.... I love that second song Sparks featuring Jimmy Somerville "Number one song in heaven"!!!!....

  • are you better than her? then why I haven't seen u on the runway?

  • blahblah... no i'm not and i know that she is a TOP model...my opinion is that she wasn't special at this show, comparing other models it seems that she had difficulties to know how to act at the haute couture catwalk. that was my opinion.i love fashion and haute couture especially.

  • I work in fashion in nyc, i think she did it not bad on the show...

  • Absolutely GREAT!!!!

  • i love giselle...but hmmmnah this aint her medium

  • DRess on 4:37! i would totally wear it! very elegant! of course i'd wear it minus all that thick make up and that hat .. :D

  • what is the name of the song to start in the 4:00 please

  • "number one song in heaven"

  • While I am absolutely in love with the dresses and suits themselves, I hated the actual show.

I don't mean to 'dehumanize' the models, but they aren't here to interact the crowd. They are there to show the gorgeous clothes that they are wearing, and I know they were instructed to do what they did, but it was just horrible. The runway was wayyy too long and the show's surroundings were emphasized too much, almost distracting at some points.

As cliche as it is, less is more.

  • They are really there to do whatever the designer wants...which they did very well in this case. And I think it's pretty hard to associate the "less is more" concept with Dior Haute Couture in anything..

  • I'm not associating the concept with the House itself, but the models. The line was outstanding and to have it be any other way in the show would have been horrible, it's just the way the models were. And I am aware they are there they are there to act and be the way the designer wishes them to be, I just think it was "iffy" and had it been my line I would have done it very differently. But it wasn't so I will have to accept it is a gorgeous line, but less then stellar show.

  • Why the middle off the show vanished? It breaks my heart! thanks

  • who was the first model?

  • :S boy!!!! The first model is GISELE

  • she look so old soory but honestly its that make up
