Yeah, this one stopped after only a day. We're worried that the room temperature might have gotten too high and killed all the yeast. We'll find out soon, I guess.
Given the current economy, this is some pretty darned useful information. I had the pleasure of seeing Lambic beer being made in Belgium several years ago. Absolutely fascinating process.
Ahh!! That is awesome!! Even more so because I've been doing all sorts of nifty experiments in biology lately dealing with some chemistry...today was actually a carbon dioxide experiment, too! (and the one last week :P)
cool lol ,thats -pretty amazing,
btw ur voice sounds partially like the girl on the blaire witch project,
aha pretty cool

this is where larry came from, i had a friend get a massive lump from drinking home made beer...

we've done that in chemistry class
the only different is that we made wine in stead of beer, and it was only about 400 ml
but the taste was very good ... suprisingly

Open the windows once in a while, otherwise you could have to much CO'2 in the air (wich is not good at all)

I thought of this while I was lying in bed awake, then decided that I was overreacting. We survived!

Looks like a lot of carbon dioxide. Did you buy your carbon offsets? aloha :)

Haha, probably should. =P

Ooh, the real stuff -- neat! I don't think home brewing saves much if any money, given the cost of supplies and equipment, but it sure is fun!

You should see if you can get them to add a beer-making experiment. =P Yeast are part of biology, right?

This is actually pretty cool! Are you going to try to sell it?
gertjanmark 3 years ago
Haha, nah. He gives it away to friends.

2 weeks? I'm way too impatient for that.

And then you have to bottle it and wait four or five weeks more...

If this is the second batch, how was the first one? :) Good beer or not?
ConayR 3 years ago 2
The first batch was pretty good, actually. I was surprised at how well it came out.
