Hey, it will be used for hauling OREO's

  • Oh how that is SO nice!!!

  • I climbed on UP4141 when it was in the yard and thought the Secret Service might come out from nowhere and grab me but in the end, it was just another damned locomotive.

  • Its worn out from hauling all the guest workers (illegals) into the United States.

  • Love the Katy and the Mopac, but the George Bush loco is the biggest waste of paint I have even seen.

  • Wow in Notch 8 and really nice units love the paint!

  • Well, I think the loco right behind "George" should be called "Jeff" with the cab end pointing toward "George": I couldn't resist that:-))))

  • Rumor has it that UP is in the midst of making another heritage unit. Now i have no idea if this IS true, BUT I heard that it is a breast cancer heritage unit. It's going to have shades of pink on it with the ribbon on it.

  • Awesome lashup.

  • kool video man i love it!!!!

  • Holy smokes, what an incredible lashup... I'm not too thrilled with the GWB unit, but the the Katy & MoPac heritage units are definitely worth turning out for... Sure wish CSX had a heritage fleet, but sadly, I'm afraid that corporate management would rather just forget how their company came to be, but I digress. A most excellent catch, Kevin. Fav'd and Shared with my Friends list.

  • that is a catch of a lifetime.

  • Why did the 4141 go out? cant they just fix it?

  • @nbtrainlvr94 Who knows about UP! All I know is 4141 has a blown traction motor and been held up at NLRjenks forever!

  • @CQDX018 Thats retarded

  • @CQDX018 It is sad That a SD70ACe Broke down GE's should be breaking down to let the ACe's Have a chance, Dylan.

  • That funny and rare how the presidents train is running a normal passenger train. cool find.

  • Hehe I put those engines on trains all the time in Houston.

  • That K5LLA gives me goosebumps. I am not kidding. Great catch, Kev.

  • WOW!!!! They named a locomotive after George Bush! I'm speechless! And its UP too, I'm even more speechless!!!! These railway companies must have alot of extra time to start putting President names on their selective locomotive(s)! stock!

  • Well talk about good power! :D

  • H...O...L...Y... SHIT!!!!!!

  • awesome catch!

the Katy is my favorite one =]

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful locomotives!!!!! It's also rare to see a CP SD40-2 behind all of those Heritage units!!

  • Hope their not repainting it, Unless they keep it the same.

  • Anyone seen UP 4141 lately? Would love to get video of her.

  • It's stored right now in Texas.

  • Thanks for the info. I hope I get a chance to

    tape it so

  • Why is it stored?

  • That I don't know.

  • hey kevin you should come out to shiloh with me kfangz kelby and mopacboy dom

  • Some ppl are numb. That engine is for Daddy Bush not DUBYA! Out of all the heritage livery I like the MOPAC! Great catch you lucky man.

  • If you want to see a BIG failure crash then name a Engine "Jimmy Carter" Or "Obama" then de-rail it.

  • Nice catch!

  • Those were some great engines! 5 stars and a favorite!

  • i caught this unit the other day in Beaumont Tx

  • They better!

  • Tribute to the 41st President, George H. Bush.

  • @CQDX018 In College Station at Texas A&M there's the George Bush Sr. Museum. This engine usually runs from Houston to Fort Worth and passes the Campus there in College Station. The President rode the engine for a short distance I think or at least toured it in College Station. (correct me if i'm wrong)

  • @kaastle Not Museum it's his Library. I stand corrected.

  • @kaastle Ah, which engines? The 4141 has been tied and shut (out of service) at North Little Rock forever for a blown traction motor. I think back in the day I may have seen those train symbols your talking about from Houston to Fort Worth and when it was displayed. Cool to know! Thanks!

  • this its the trio i see after 4141 was unveiled here in college station texas home of the presidential library , they maybe never be togheteragain i guess great great catch ! 5 * and favorite!

  • Love the K5LLA on this unit. It sounds a lot like a P5.

  • Heavens, I hope not.

  • (in response to csxES44DC)

  • They probably will.

  • LOL That's A Good one.

  • Wow great video!

  • wow 3 special Up units and a CP rail? AMAZING VID!

  • Great video, CQDX018! Keep up the good work! I bet quite a few people will be putting comments on this and other videos showing the UP 4141, or "Bush unit," because of their hatred for the 43rd President Bush, the younger one. For anyone who doesn't know, this was made in honor of the 41ST President George Bush, the older one.

  • this got to be the best lash up of all times!!! very colorfull

this was the lash up who start make me railfanin around bryan/college station texas area, cause tats were its was firts seen a lot

  • personally, I tink the best catch was that CP SD40-2 trailing, but that is a spectacular lash-up

  • hell, if you thought the sd40-2 was amazing come see my vids i got TONS and come down to winnipeg youll get TONSD of sd-40-2s and ac4400s and es44dcs

  • wow wat bush senior ir this one

  • awesome lash up!!!!!!!

  • george likes to fly\

  • they also have this units on shows on bryan and college station tx, especialy the beatiful 4141, since they have gorge bush library here in college station, i be uploding some pics of them sonn , by the way great catch!

  • A George Bush unit and 2 heritage units? Awesome!

  • Oh, and a CP SD40-2.

  • Nice!

  • forgot about this locomotive, well back the mrr website!

  • Sweet, a dual flag CP SD40-2! And I suppose the rest of those are cool as well. haha Nice video!

  • Oh cool, a CP Rail engine!

  • That's a long train =d

  • LOL I remember that CP Rail engine when it was at Settegast.

  • very nice lashup. :D

    SD

  • that would be really cool. :D

  • OMG its RAILFORCE ONE! lol so thats how bush gets arround when he cant fly places.

  • WOW what a power consist. cool stuff man.

  • HELL YA! though i dont know how the hell george W bush got his own unit. the basterd doesnt deserve one, lol XD. awesome catch

  • It was built for George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush's father. :D

  • ya i know, lol niether of them deserve thier own unit, lol

  • the reason he got his own unit is this. College station, tx is home to the George H.W. Bush presidential library. in honor of his library, the union pacific painted the 4141 for the occasion. he actually has been on that engine and has rode it on the main track (either Navasota or Bryan Sub). so yeah, there is a reason, albeit it dumb

  • lol, i know.

  • thetrainman407: Why do you allow your mindless hatred for George W. Bush to cloud your "thinking"? Geeeeeeeeeeeze! You can't even enjoy a harmless train video without spewing hate. It's only a locomotive! Besides, the locomotive number 4141 applies to his dad (the 41st president). Oh, I forgot: you hate him, too! You must be a lot of fun to pal around with.

  • It's best to repaint that engine when Bush is done.

  • This is the old man Bush.

  • hell of a nice catch dude 5 stars!

  • Great video! I wonder why it's labeled the 'George Bush' unit? Does it ruin our economy and jack up the gas prices? lol. Just kidding! 5*

  • No, it just makes funny noises and occasionally fills up with hot air :D

  • Lol. I hear ya!

  • Oh man! That was a cool shot. Good job Kevin

  • man u really love trains don't you

    i like trains too =)

  • man u really love trains don't you

    i like trains too =)

  • Holy somkes..

  • i've seen the george bush unit and the katy in front of my house. great catch

  • one of the generals command cars is there.the Dwight d eisenhower is now on display indoors at the museum along with one of the eight surviving union pacific big boys

  • Man you guys crack me up. I work for UP at the Diesel shop in Houston the 4141 comes through the shop all the time. I see it all the time and you guys chase them down!!! Just funny to me I guess. I've worked on the 4141 a quite a few times even taken a nap on it!!

  • Well you have the oppertunity to see it all the time, lol. We don't! Plus we like the thrill of the chase. :)

  • now i know why my engines are always out of sand hahaha

  • I dont sand locomotives haha I'm not a a F&O

  • I would crap my pants if I saw all of thos weirld and rare Locomotives around here. I would call the a catch. ( i hope the GB unit crashes) LOL

  • Why would you want the GB unit to crash? Were you even alive when he was president?

  • Ya! i thought it was the current prez By bad!

  • Haha!!!!! That was a good one, I laughed at that. Although it may seem, UP is one of the top railroads today.

  • Good way to put it! I like it

  • I believe Norfolk Southern is the Wal-Mart of railroading. their power is stripped down with the cheapest stuff.

  • That's not a very nice thing to say. Norfolk Southern is my favorite railroad.

  • I was referring to the guy that said, "Norfolk Southern is the Walmart of railroading. Their power is stripped down with the cheapest stuff."

  • How far south did Sonny chase that one?

  • Southern Illinois.

  • lucky! the george bush AND 2 heritage trains! you got lucky there. nice video!

  • Yeah, awesome catch.

  • Those EMD two strokers sure are musical, aren't they?

  • Yes they are!

  • All 6 heritages are on the same train in the west, lol! Better catch that one!

  • The Train is M-PRPB Proviso, Ill. to Pine Bluff, Ark.

  • OH GOD IT'S GEORGE BUSH!

  • I caught that down here that evening. Pretty cool consist.

  • i never seen tis uint before

  • READ MY LIPS NO MORE ARMOUR YELLOW!!!

  • I'm surprised there's a loco named for G Bush, I thought he was anti-rail? Interesting locos all the same. There is another loco numbered 4141, it's a steam engine, and it works on English preserved railways, I came to this vid because of it!

  • Bush himself said that if they had done it when he was still in office. he would've left Air Force One Behind more often.

  • Oh it was THAT Mr Bush! I thought it was the current one! The Railways here (in UK) had a lot of difficulty getting Mrs Thatcher to use them, they did get her to name an engine, but the one time she actually used a scheduled train her entourage made them delay it by half hour to suit her convenience.

  • You've got to understand George H(erbert) W(alker) Bush was the 41st president and George W. Bush is the Current 43rd president. Bush was called Poppy Bush, Bush The Elder, Papa Bush and Bush 41. to keep from confusing the current George W. Bush.

  • Thanks, but it seems to be worse than Henry VIII and his 6 wives!

We had at least one engine here named for an American President, it was an A4 class Pacific no 60008 which bore the name 'Dwight D Eisenhower'. This one of of the 'Mallard' class. I'm not sure if the engine is still in existence. I'm sure someone will pop up and tell us!

  • The A4 "Eisenhower" still exists (static display) and is in the museum at Green Bay, Wisconsin, carefully preserved under cover. I believe it's also accompanied by one or more of the General's "command cars".

  • Damn, yall can trace the units???...lol

Yall tryin to catch them, and I'm tryin to keep from catchin them

    lmao!!!

  • Hahaha, well luck is with you, I wish I can have them follow me like they do you! Lucky me, I got to see all 3 on the same train.

  • UP sure know how to impress the working class railfans.
