These games were pretty good... i never really played it for the story or charcters... i just played so i could play as all my favourite mobile suits and kick ass... no other game has this so :D If you like ass-mashing buttons with a shit load of gundams, play this. All it's good for with its one million missions.

@Newtamaki By your own admission, Kira had a legitimate reason to attack ZAFT. By your own admission, and shown quite clearly on the show, ZAFT special forces tried to kill Lacus Clyne. You yourself destroyed your own argument using your own words. I believe I am now satisfied with how this turned out.
Except that it isn't the ZAFT special forces in episode 13, as it was never admitted by Durandal and was only ASSUMED by Lacus, there are more suspects like Phantom Pain's coordinator force CIRCUS, or Zala Loyalist, although the former is more likely due to Yuuna(Cagalli's Gay guy) knowing Kira and Lacus' whereabouts and that they're coordinators.

@Newtamaki lol im butting into this conversation, but i agree with you 75% :) Kira never actually kicked Shin's ass. Kira never tried to "kill him" at all though. During the battle between Impulse and the original freedom gundam, Shin used the fact that Kira never targets the cockpit, only arms legs, camera(head), weapons etc. Knowing this, all shin had to do, was in fact move his arm a little. I think you're giving too much credit to shin also, he ended up using two impulses to take down Kira.

The interesting thing is, Strike freedom's version of the Voiture Lumière booster system is directly taken from StarGazer Gundam, while Destiny's variant was a total reverse engineered. Destiny's after images are basically illusions created by the mirage coils in Voiture Lumière. SF could be as fast.

Theres no difference between the Super Dragoons and the Dragoons Legend gundam is armed with. The both are special custom of the standard dragoons, but give higher power out put and easier use for the pilots. And, SF has 8 dragoons, while Legend has 10, including the Large Dragoons.

Same thing with the Minerva, the people in question were also naval personnel, and are legitimate military targets. They cannot be counted as civilians, unless of course your also willing to admit Shinn is a terrorist as well for destroying ships and killing lots of people though.

Except that it isn't the ZAFT special forces in episode 13, as it was never admitted by Durandal and was only ASSUMED by Lacus, there are more suspects like Phantom Pain's coordinator force CIRCUS, or Zala Loyalist, although the former is more likely due to Yuuna(Cagalli's Gay guy) knowing Kira and Lacus' whereabouts and that they're coordinators.

@Newtamaki lol im butting into this conversation, but i agree with you 75% :) Kira never actually kicked Shin's ass. Kira never tried to "kill him" at all though. During the battle between Impulse and the original freedom gundam, Shin used the fact that Kira never targets the cockpit, only arms legs, camera(head), weapons etc. Knowing this, all shin had to do, was in fact move his arm a little. I think you're giving too much credit to shin also, he ended up using two impulses to take down Kira.

~Shinn deserves all the credit for that victory.He and Rey studied Kira's fighting style (something Kira never did) and Shinn on his own came up with ways to defeat Kira.Like the scene where the Impulse throws the shield and shoots at it and in the process,the beam shot is redirected towards Kira damaging the left shoulder of the Freedom.Kira was not expecting that.Shinn defeated Kira with skill,will,determination and ability.That's all there is to it.

@Newtamaki lol well i still dont care about the characters/pilots, i could care less whos better, but for me, Destiny Looks Better than Strike Freedom, however... when it comes down to it, strike freedom gundam is better. Its speed matches destiny(when wing of light activated) when it deploys all of its SUPER DRAGOONS pods, don't forget its superior arsenal of beam spamming weapons. But the best MS to me, is the....... Hyaku Shiki(FUCK YEAH).

The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam was said to be the fastest Mobile Suit in the Cosmic Era.
In Gundam SEED Destiny,Shinn(who was piloting the mighty Destiny) dodged all of the Strike Freedom's Super Dragoon Pods and managed to block one Super Dragoon Pod shot with the Destiny's Beam Shield.
The Strike Freedom is better in your opinion,plain and simple.

@Newtamaki if you read thoroughly through my comments, destiny is better looking, i dont like or dislike freedom, i like the beam spamming power, and you mention the super dragoon block way too much, WE GET IT. Anyways, your opinion now seems to heavily like shin better in general, not the mobile suit. If he was to pilot freedom, im sure you'd be like OMFG "freedom is the best", and if kira piloted the destiny, "OMFG, destiny is lame". One more thing, i said destiny was nicer in design... AGAIN.

@Newtamaki i saw one of your AMV videos, and at the end... apparently u added the scene where Impulse Strikes Freedom's cockpit, and showing shinn winning 24/7, very creative that u added that small clip that came from Freedom Vs Impulse into the final battle between Strike Freedom and Destiny, even though it would transition into legend v strike freedom. But that video heavily favored the pilot cuzz the title was "Kira Yamato vs Shinn Asuka" :) u Shinn Lover :3

@Newtamaki lol idk, i disliked freedom gundam(s) designs in general, destiny to me, is a very clean mobile suit, it looks sharp, and simple at the same time. I guess we can leave that at that. The interesting thing is, Strike freedom's version of the Voiture Lumière booster system is directly taken from StarGazer Gundam, while Destiny's variant was a total reverse engineered. Destiny's after images are basically illusions created by the mirage coils in Voiture Lumière. SF could be as fast.

~If you don't know then please don't talk like you know.The Strike Freedom's Voiture Lumiere Booster System is not what the Destiny Gundam is equipped with.In the Anime show and even in Gundam video games,the Strike Freedom does not leave after images while it's flying around with it's Blue Wings of Light activated.The Destiny's ''Wings of Light'' basically create after images that fool the radars.Like it can appear from the left when it's actually on the right.It's that fast.

Although you both have good facts, Type has presented himself multiple times with real facts as well, especially the one where strike was constructed after Destiny, that is totally true, and destiny was known to be the fasted up until itself. -i do recall however, that Strike Freedom was able to dodge all of Legends dragoons, similar to Destiny Gundam dodging all of Strike Freedom's dragoons. Theres no difference between the Super Dragoons and the Dragoons Legend gundam is armed with. The both are special custom of the standard dragoons, but give higher power out put and easier use for the pilots. And, SF has 8 dragoons, while Legend has 10, including the Large Dragoons.

@Newtamaki ONE MORE THING XD, i love destiny gundam, when it comes down to design and looks, destiny gundam is very nicely designed. The head is awesome, freedom's in my view looks like a remake of the original RX-78-2 idk. lol but yeah, but when it comes down to beam spamming and what not, freedom has got my attention for weapons and accessories. Shin is probably a better pilot, though my views come from machine aspects. I could careless about the pilots, since i the show revolves around mechs.

By definition a terrorist is one who seeks to spread terror, generally under threat of violence. The 911 bombers for example were terrorists. Kira and Lacus and their allies are not terrorists, they don't want to spread fear - the cause they commit themselves to is a world of peace AND freedom, which causes them to stand at odds with the other factions.
The fan war between Shinn and Kira is silly, because all it is is a philosophical debate over what is an acceptable price for peace.

Chairman Durandel said himself that the Legend and the Destiny are State Of The Art Mobile Suits.They are superior to anything else produced up tho that point.Those mobile suits were assigned to Rey and Shinn by ZAFT.They weren't stolen and used for acts of terrorism.Kira and Lacus are the perfect example of terrorists.

~I can tell you a few instances but I'll only tell you about one for now.
Kira killed many civilians,people who weren't even soldiers nor pilots when he destroyed the Minerva's Main Primary Weapon.You clearly see body bags after that battle ended.Almost all of Kira's battles in Gundam SEED Destiny involved terror.He kept sticking his nose where it didn't belong and so Z.A.F.T ordered Shinn to defeat Kira and Destroy the Freedom.Shinn accomplished his mission.

@Newtamaki I think you are a little confused. The people aboard the Agamemnon are naval officers and crewman. They are considered military, and are a legitimate target. Same thing with the Minerva, the people in question were also naval personnel, and are legitimate military targets. They cannot be counted as civilians, unless of course your also willing to admit Shinn is a terrorist as well for destroying ships and killing lots of people though.
