The other version of this video was a lot better. It fit the energy of the song a lot better. Despite the bigger budget for this version, the editing on this is pretty substandard. I used to VJ in 1995 in NY and played the hell out of the other version of the video.

@cmulwee001 I concur. I remember when this song was originally released in the 70's. The vocal track is so similar, it's either uncanny or someone redid this tune with the same vocals and put a pretty boy in the video. I dunno. I like this version as well, regardless.

Interesting - this is the same arrangement as the album version but the lead vocals are different. The lead vocals sound like the all-dance version, whereas the album version is much more "breathy".

my understanding was when it was first released it was released in the UK, then a number of international labels wanted to release so they had a bigger video budget :)
