Asim Thep is half Chinese because her grand mother is Chinese. She went to China very often to bring gifts to her grand ma's country and to sign a contact for Thailand to be under China protection like in the past, each time when there was a new Chinese emperor, Thailand had to send gift to China to show they are royal to the new Chinese emperor.
