  • NC was hilarious whenever he looked to the side of the camera as if he were actually watching the movie.

  • He should make an Old vs New with the 80s cartoon and the 2000s cartoon

  • 5:08-5:16 makes me die of laughter XD

  • 5:08- 5:16 AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA #dies laffing# X)

  • How does he know how 'splooge' taste like? ._.

  • where are they going with that stuff

  • Does anyone else think the sound quality

is weird when Critic says his catchphrase.

  • @AtlantaCommercials yeah. it sounds different, but that´s because it was one of his first reviews.

  • @hallowedbeeddie I understand. He probably bought better equipment later on.

  • when he makes the Casey Jones looking like Jason's homosexual Canadian brother, he passed on a golden opportunity to use the scene where Donitello (spelling?) calls Casey a claustrophobic, and Casey says "I've never even looked at another man before"........that would've been golden!!

  • Man I never even knew turtle pies existed, I WANT ONE!! "Even if it does taste like splooge"

line made me laugh, on the subject of 'splooge' (which NC's use of would suggest he's supplanting it for the word spunk/baby gravy) just who'd make a kids treat that tasted like semen? o.0 doesnt make a lotta sense to me

  • What did they do to April, she looks like she's on speed

  • Punish, deez, TURDULS. roflmao

  • THANK YOU FOR FIXING THE LEFT CHANNEL AUDIO.

  • after watching this, i wish gabrel iglesias was in the original movie, reply if you agree

  • shredder looks like Darth Vader retarded cosine

  • der de der de derr, (Cymbal Clash) AHHH!

  • 5:05 It's like the pyros from TF2 !

  • The movie was more like the comic book

  • 4:56 DUUUUDE SIGN ME UP

  • One of the big problems I had with the first Turtles movie is Splinter's origin, no one could learn martial arts from watching someone and a rat doesn't have that much intellect. I preferred the idea of Splinter being a human originally who became a rat.

The actress who played April in the sequels was much hotter

  • @JReed1985 That was actually his origin in the comics.

  • @KCJ506 I know mate, I just think it's a little far fetched that it's a rat learning martial arts as it's not how a human learns martial arts. It made more sense that Splinter was a human who learnt martial arts before he became a rat.

  • @JReed1985 far fetched? in a franchise with mutants, aliens, and interdimensional travel, a rat mimicing martial arts is far fetched?

  • @spidermansidekick1 in terms of the real world yes it is but if we look at the Incredible Hulk that was created when Bruce Banner got hit by a Gamma bomb. In real life Gamma would kill but in Stan Lee's world it creates a powerful monster.

I guess I can't see it that way with Splinter's origin, I just prefer the idea of him being human who mutated into a rat because I think it cuts better.

I also know that in the comics April was a lab assistant not a reporter. Which do you prefer?

  • @JReed1985 I prefer the April from the comics, she was a stronger charecter who learned martial arts and fought along side the Turtles. She was only a lab assistant for one issue before Baxter Stockman tried to kill her. I like NC reviews, but it bugs me he never acknowledges the comics. He considers himself a huge fan but seems to only refer back to the 1987 series.

  • @spidermansidekick1 yeah I remember the new series of the Turtles has April as a lab assistant but I guess I somewhat prefer April when she's the vulnerable reporter.

I'm too getting heavily into NC but when he reviewed Mortal Kombat I new that he's no fan of the series like I am. I don't always agree with him but he's fun to watch like AVGN.

  • Mr Nostalgic Critic. are you one of the rotten tomatoes critic's? because you should be if you're not. your Batman and Robin review was priceless.

  • @jayNicks10 Doug Walker(the nostalgia critic) Doesn't upload any of his videos to youtube, his fans do. He uploads his videos to his website That Guy With The Glasses.com. Along with other videos by other various critics and the like. I'd suggest you check it out there are all kinds of really entertaining videos there.

  • @clamz94 oh. haha. well that's a little embarrassing. Thanks. I'll have to check that out.

  • In the beginning you show a comic book at 0:10 . I think you've got the original comics confused with the TMNT adventures Comics. they're very different. The Turtles started out as a dark comic, and then became a comedic cartoon. this movie stayed loyal to the dark comics but had some elements from the cartoon. but this is still a funny video.

  • 5:13 When I first saw that, I almost died of laughter. XDDDDD

  • I love The old turtles movies. ^_^

  • The Ninja Turtles looked great in the first two movies, Jim Henson was a jenius...They truly sucked in the third movie, no Henson, ah well the movie sucked as well.

  • Welshy, why are all these videos in relatively poor quality?

  • how does he know what sploog tastes like?

  • The first TMNT movie was pretty cool. The sequels sucked.

  • we need a tmnt 3 review

  • @theautobotjedi Not getting one. The AVGN nailed it.

  • Why can't we get this Nostalgia Critic every week?

  • 5:12 Pyros?

  • teenage mutant fucking ninja turtles this is the shit XD

  • The pie was good

  • Did you really need to split this review in 2 different parts? It's only 10 minutes long.

  • If that April pissed him off. I wonder what he was like when he saw the 2003 April...

  • the face he makes at 2:15 is priceless.

  • amazing!

  • 2:21 geek our momento!

  • 5:08

Sounds like the Pyro from Team Fortress 2.

  • "I'm going to sit down and review the movies, with you, as you're watching it with me."

Isn't that basically what he always does?

  • 5:08 reminds me of the bomb guys from the first episode of The Tick XD

  • tasted like spluge. how do you know how that tastes? XD

  • Fun fact! The creators of the TMNT comic book tried to link their origin to Daredevil's. The canister that blinded him is supposed to be the same canister that mutated the turtles and Splinter

  • One of his oldest but best reviews.

  • the first time i saw shredder, i was like, "DARTH VADER REJECT!!!!"

  • Those cookies had to be 30 years old.

  • nice review bro

  • 1:40 even the 2000's April is pretty hot.

  • 1:14 even the 2000's April is pretty hot.

  • @mattiathekaiju Could you at least delete the other post?

  • wait they're giant humaniod figured turtle ninjas.........aren' they supposed to be slow

  • @za2ed00z yes they are

  • @torak49 i'm so reliefed to hear that i thought i lost my mind for a sec

  • SHREDDER IS SPY!!!

  • maaan, the nostalgia critic is so fuckin´ funny !! xDDDDDDD jajaja

  • Duuude, sign me up! :D

  • Lol pyro I mean ninja convention

  • What's NC's email address?

  • @66Ryansworld You can contact him from the site, under "Site Stuff".

  • I love NC.

  • "Giant rat vs giant cheese grater" LMAO

  • @Totaly14 lol rofl

  • i like the part when he said casey jones as jasons homeen sexual canaden brother lol and i might spell it rong

  • ....BULLSHIT*WHILE STILL SMILLING* LOL

  • I love the first movie I haven't seen the second or third though.

I want to see the second but I will only watch the third movie just so I can make fun of it.

  • You sound like Jim Carrey.

  • hmm I wonder if putting my face on splooge it'll taste better?

*eats* OH MY GOSH IT'S SUDDENLY... more... delicous in a way...

  • Stupid banana raincoat wearin bitch!

  • DUR DUR DUR DUR DUR DUR DUR XD

  • 5:12 - funniest moment in the vid. Mmvmmhmfmm! MMMwwmfffplmlml!

  • this movie helped made my childhood kickass.

  • There was even this one episode where Leonardo goes back to Feudal Japan and meets Osaki, one of the coolest characters in the storyline. How come they never ever mention him of all.

The 2003 had a lot of things that was more faithful to the comic then that of the '87 version. What a rip-off!!

  • @4BubLife SHUT! UP!

  • @kingofallpie

    Super

    Hot

    Ultimate

    Turtles

    !

    Ultra

    Production

    !

  • The foot ninja were more advanced in the comic than the freaking '87 show and the movies. They advanced as time goes on to look like those bad ass samurai dudes with longer blades.

Casey Johns was severely downplayed; Casey was a man with a heart of gold whose a bit of a klutz at times.

Bitterhead was also another character that was not introduced that should've been. Same with the utrons and Karai, the Shredder's adopted daughter. Bottom line, I'm done with that-other-show!

  • faithful to how they interact with each other. At least they got splinter down well. Another thing is with the Shredder. The Shredder was not some whiny, piss-poor excuse for a villain, the true Shredder was sadistic, dark, and very strong. He could take down the turtles by himself and gives them severe brutality doing it. April's another disappointment; April is a strong female character who used to work for doctor stockman but after the incident, works over at her uncle's antique shop.

  • All I can say is this...the 1987's turtles personalities was truly an insult to the original comic book in itself!!

The freaking comic book that it came out with, the personalities were just not...right...

I mean Leonardo is the leadership type whose also a hard-ass, Raphael is truly a rebel whose reckless and doens't give a lick for authority, Donatello is the genius in the group, and Michaelangelo is well...Mikey. They quarrel with each other an awful lot, at least the '03 version was more

  • i kew what the ninjas were saying, i can translate. HUR DUR DUR HUR DUR DUR DUR HUR HUR DUR DUR!!!

  • Wait a minute, Splinter was a human before coming in contact with the ooze, wasn't he? I never watched TMNT but I distinctly remember NC saying that.

  • @NinjaRacoonDelta2 He was only a human in the original cartoon. In the comics, movies, and 2003 cartoon he was an oridinary rat beforehand.

  • Okay so this movie is extremely cheesy but still enjoyable as a kid.

  • I WILL DEFEAT YOU..*Slips over building.* NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO! XD

  • 2 girls 1 cup? 0:29 to 0:39

  • Couldn't you just stone the hitman and get an improved result?

  • Aaaah I'm sooo clad He Loves this movie xD he rips apart every other thing I ever loved to Watch!! LOLOL

  • 5:09 Pyro eez ninja!

  • It was probably to get kids more interested in the Renaissance era

  • 5:08- 5:16 had me rolling.

  • Evil kitchen utensil?

  • At least April was hotter in TMNT 2 and 3.

  • Those muffled ninja voices sounded like someone bound and gagged Statler and Waldorf

  • Stupid banana raincoat wearing bitch

  • Geek out mode!

  • ninjutsu reptiles? do they have sharighans too? or the nine tails

  • @aelita12345678910

Keep that horrible piece of shit called Naruto away from TMNT

  • Evil Kitchen Utensil XD

  • "of Course!"

  • evil kitchen utensil! XD LOL

  • 6:00.; Splinter didn't stick his foot out. He used a set of numb-chucks.

  • @tthomaselli2 It was a joke!

  • @Bauglir100

I know.; I was just makin' sure what The Nostalgia Critic said was actually what happened.

  • 4:15.; Shredder's voice, cape & mask kinda reminds me of Shao Kahn from 'Mortal Kombat 3' & 'Mortal Kombat 2'.

    Lol.

  • 3:39.; "Pizza... Pizza...".

I so need to have my son say that as his first 2 words.

  • 2:20.; **'GEEK OUT MODE' ACTIVATED!**.

    Lol.

  • turtle power dudes

  • Normal mode: :|

    Geek out mode: 8D

  • Wrong, the master was already in New York when he was murdered by Shredder.

  • DUDEE! SIGN ME UP!

  • It's weird that he hates all 3 and avgn just hates the 3rd one

  • der der der der? *slams with instruments*

  • Splinter was already in New York when his master was killed.

  • i heard that the tmnt movies were based on the original comic(yes it exists i checked)

  • Comment removed

  • geek out mode transition!

  • I haven't seen the first one since I was 5yrs old. LOVE the second one, saw the 3rd one at the movies, and refuse to see any of my childhood cartoon become CGI

  • @SexyButCurious too bad, cause the only half DECENT one was the CGI version

  • "OH COM'ON!!"

  • oh no you did-ent HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i liked the costumes in the second one better.

  • i like the opening of the first one, because it looked suspenseful.

  • Did you know that Sam Rockwell (a rather big name actor these days who you may known from such movies as The Green Mile,Charlies Angels,Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,Choke,Moon, and Iron Man2) was in the first TMNT movie? He had a very small role as the cigarette guy in Shredder's lair. "Regulars or Menthols?"

  • @HelloFade2 Wow,that was a pretty neat piece of trivia there,interesting stuff,thanks for sharing. :)

  • @Cr1ms0nRav3n Do you mean that or are you just being sarcastic?

  • @HelloFade2 Hahah, Now that I look at my comment,it does appear to sound sarcastic. No I actually meant what I said.I always like hearing and reading trivia about movies and other media.

If you watch Naruto, did you know that the voice actor for Konohamaru did the same voice for Pikachu in Pokemon? O_O

Call me weird if you want, but stuff like that intrigues me.

  • @Cr1ms0nRav3n Hmm well that's cool i suppose to be honest i'm not really a fan of Pokemon or Narato. Anime just doesnt really do it for me.

  • @HelloFade2 XD no worries,we all have our own tastes!

  • @Cr1ms0nRav3n nah it's cool, I also am intrigued by that kind of stuff, and I even have interests with movies so don't feel bad

  • @sinisterskills17 Cool,glad I'm not alone! XD

  • @Cr1ms0nRav3n I'm the same lol

  • @VinceToTheMax Awesome! :)

  • @Cr1ms0nRav3n nah you're good. I would have to agree with you

  • @Cr1ms0nRav3n I totally understand you dude , I totally do !!

  • 2:52

What? But i love that movie. And at least its better than the 3rd live action movie...

  • Ninjas: DURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDURDUR

Ninja: Dur dur dur dur dur!

    *cymbal*

  • Wait...you used Windows Movie Maker for this video? You are the man!

  • why is he saying the exact same stuff the avgn said in his turtles review in the beginning of this video?

  • @LMTR14 Read the username dumbass.

  • Is it just me or does the bit of him explaining what happened when he heard about the live action films sound like 2 girls 1 cup?

  • @CooperflameX I was thinking the same thing when he said it.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pie

    Vanilla Puddin' Powers!!!

  • i rented this movie so many times when i was a kid the manager at block buster gave me a copy :)

  • wait wtf i thought that splinter when to new york lived in the sewer he touched a rat and there is the ooze that turns thing to the last thing you touched!

  • @CoolVids19

the movie is a little different from the cartoon

  • @CoolVids19 That's what the cartoon says, but this movie is also based on the ORIGINAL Mirage comics. In the comics, Splinter was a rat to begin with. The ooze mutated whatever it touched, but it would make you more intelligent. So yeah, the cartoon and the movie were obviously different in the origins.... REALLY DIFFERENT...

  • 4:09

Kitchen utensil? I though shredders were office equipment :I

  • Doug should review The Next Mutation.

  • '...An evil kitchen utensil'

XD for some reason I found that line really funny.

  • "an evil kitchen utensil" XDDD

  • DUR DA DUR DA DUR? DUR DA DUR!

  • TMFNT

  • The 1st and 2nd movies were very good however the 3rd was....... (Gulp) I don't event wanna talk about it I tried to erase it from my memories lol

  • I'm guessing the baby turtle who said "pizza" is Mikey. AND HE'S SO CUTE, in a weird way. The live action still freaks me out.

  • Try explaining the PlayStation game Tomba to somebody. The concept is rediculous, but it's a great game.

  • 5:08, awesome

  • "they would probably turn then into computer animated images. OH BULLSHIT!!!!!"

  • to explain the plot holes...it was more loosely based on the Eastman & Laird Comic and the show combined. Casey Jones, the back story details, Yoshi and Splinters immigration to America were form the comics. The turtles personalities were from the show

  • i can't stop laughing at that "Dur dur dur dur duuur..." *Cymbals* "AH!'

  • XD "Dur dur dur duuur..." *SMASH!* "AHH!"

  • "...despite the fact that he looks like jason's homosexual canadian brother."

"ooooooh" i literally spit out my cereal all over the computer screen! X'D

  • even though i love the first 2 movies, there are a LOT of goofs... but finding them only makes the movie more enoyable

in the scene where shredder charges at splinter on the roof, pause at the shot behind his elbow; you can see the New York backdrop

also, when splinter flips him off the roof, pause when he turns around; you can see the puppeteer halfway up splinter's ass

    XD

  • wait... how does nc know what splooge tastes like?

  • @willscomix mutant rat-squirrel-pig aliens came from the planet uranus from dimension k and raped him in the mouth... DUH!!

  • what do you call your selves.... the aristocrats!

  • Just keep clicking 2:20 in this video for the best time of your life.

  • I kinda want to see the first movie again after seeing this review. Jim Hanson did some awesome work making the turtle costumes that has never been outshined since the other movies came into place.

  • those suits are awesome:O

so detailed and well thought-out. looks wayyy better than any damn cgi-effects

  • Whether or not Shredder is a rip off of Darth Vader you have to admit. Darth Vader's suit is based off of a Japanese Samurai Armor (or at least just his helmet).
