the thing is tho, gordon is one of the worst defensive guards in the league and he dribbles the ball way too much. He takes the ball out of d rose's hand, and tries to win every game by himself... he's an extremely selfish player. My friend does basketball workouts where ben gordon does, and he talked to gordon's instructor who said that ben gordon was one of the worst ball handlers he has ever seen of a professional player

I couldn't agree more. I am glad that Gordon left. I think we are so much better without him. We still got Salmons, Rose becoming an amazing PG, Miller, who looked pretty good against Boston, Noah, and hopefully Deng is healthy and Thomas improves even more. Gordon just couldn't let go of the damn ball. He personally lost us a couple of those Celtics games by chucking up an endless string of threes that didn't come close.

I also think Johnson could make a pretty decent role player too.

Salmons I might give you, though I think he's more of a team player than Gordon.  But Deng when healthy is much much better than Gordon. Gordon is a horrendous ball hog who has very little discipline and no defensive ability whatsoever. Gordon was overpaid and overrated.
