  • its a football not soccer a ball

  • Well he bend it like carlos a few times. If you can bend it like carlos then you know your curve is good. I can't say that it isn't because it's pretty amazing. But this wasn't his best curves. He did some free kicks that were absolutely insane.

  • @Kranda123 Carlos is good, but he doesnt curve as good as david beckman. In Real madrid, beckham will take most of the 20-33 yards free kick,34-40+ yards is for carlos, because carlos have the power and strength but beckham doesnt have it

  • a rare look...

he made a fuckin dvd about it (with i loved when i was young, really was helpful)

  • Beckham sucks..

  • @diegomanya17 i want to see you accomplish what he did fucking hater !

  • @xPLHOOLIGANx Suck my balls he is horrible

  • bet i can stop it

and most of my free kicks bend the way he does :D

  • When he was with United, he scored 37 of his 62 goals with United on free kicks like that. He was the best it and you can't deny it.

  • I know Beckham is supposed to be one of the hottest guys on the planet, but I'd take Cooper over him any day!!

  • I admire David, he's a very good soccer player.

  • wheres the rest 59 minutes?

  • He's great in goal! :D

  • its cool and all, but cmon i was expecting some serious curvage (not like WANTED), but like how that kid, can throw a weffal ball, 90 MPH and can curve it around people. its sick...to me it just looks like a slightly curving, so thats his FAMOUS, Bend it Beckahm kicks, its not THAT cool, , hard as fuck to block, dont get me wrong, but ya not that impressive

  • @thatguy1252 you do realize he is one of the best in free kick taking and long ball passes dont you? If you do... I rest my case...

  • @hispeed911 ...that wasnt my point, idc if hes the best in free kicking and long ball passes, thats not what i said...all i said, is that this whole "bending it like beckham" thing was complelty over hyped, again im sure its hella fucking hard to do that, but again i was expecting a litlle more of a curve not just a slight curve.

  • @hispeed911 ...oh and 2nd, what case?, you didnt bring up a case, all you did was just add fact, and nothing i said put my knowledge of soccer on the table. i was just saying my opinon..im not trying to get in a whole pointless stupid youtube thing, but learn how to use "i rest my case"

  • @thatguy1252 he can bend it more, and curving a wiffle ball is easy, just get one of them that has holes on only half of it and grab the solid side

  • Nice ball! ;)

  • @yotzincastrejon stopped.

  • Beckham is gay. He's a bender...

  • Comment removed

  • i would have blocked that shot. it was weak.

  • LOL. David Beckham is inarguably a talented Soccer player, but this is a prime example of useless television.

"Right. Well it's like I kick the ball, you know? But, with backspin, yeah?"

    Derpa.

It's a physical thing learned over time, not something that can be instructively taught in one minute and fifteen seconds.

Besides, Cooper is a borderline fossil. He takes care of himself, but I can't help but feel I could of at least knicked a few of those shots of you swapped me in there.

  • watching this makes me want to have field like that in my backyard

  • haha anderson cooper.funney..........

  • Does anybody know if Beckham did ANYTHING at all for any of the American Soccer Leagues...anything?

  • @jusitke07 who gives a fuck, the man is a english legend. and LOL CNN's Anderson Cooper xD

  • @NearsL Hey may be an English legend, but he's certainly not an American Legend that's for sure. Besides, soccer isn't a popular sport here...so who cares I guess.

  • @jusitke07 lol, that's the point mate,he doesn't have to be an american legend, the man is an italian legend, a spanish legend, Milan,Madrid, etc. soccer isn't popular here in america, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't like it here, people are rude, and nasty, and call it soccer. Im not saying others aren't, its just it's way different going somewhere else, then a country or nation that lives for football, get it? its different, not to mention, the lad's getting old and has had injuries, lol. :)

  • @jusitke07 He is a worldwide superstar mate. I don't happen to be a sports fan but credit where credit is due. The world cup is the biggest international competition to have ever existed. Bigger even than the Olympics. To be one of the legends of football is to be one of the richest and most famous people in the world. Football is much bigger than American football, and the players are paid a lot more.

  • @TacticalHub Well then, maybe you can answer the question: Did David Beckham do anything for any of the American Soccer Teams?

  • @jusitke07 I couldn't tell you. I dont follow MLS. But Elvis never performed in the UK but that doesn't mean he isn't a big name here in England.

  • @TacticalHub The only difference is, Elvis never signed any contracts ensuring British dominance in Rock & Roll. David Beckham however signed a multi-million dollar contract to help with Amercian dominance in Soccer and promote the unpopular sport too....he didn't do shit for America.

  • @jusitke07 He signed the contract to help, not to ensure (He took a huge drop in pay by the way). He can't make people like something they don't like. what he did do though was increase interest in Europe towards Major league soccer and as a result European clubs scouted American players like Clint Dempsey who now plays in the premier league. I don't know if that is a benefit to America or not but it sure is to Dempsey.

  • @TacticalHub We're talking about David Beckham here, and thank you for confirming that he did indeed signed a contract to help, yet didn't help at all....

  • anderson cooper... finds YET another reason to bust out the tight cotton t-shirt!

    lmafo!!!

  • How about you both shutup and stop bickering at eachother. Be a real man and leave it :D

  • Poor Anderson Pooper, haha

  • wow

  • american's r tards!

  • i have best tip on this when you do this bend like beachma follow the ball with your foot exakt there place you want to put the ball an it will hit target every fucking time i have trained it and every time it works try it let your leg follow the ball point the way you want it to come

  • beckham's free kicks are nothing special. when i was younger i practised free kicks and corners 4-6 hours a day and i can do some crazy shit with a football

  • @senorgrande1984 difference is that he is famous and ur nothing.

  • @lilplayer114 true. but if the NHS gave me the knee operation i needed maybe it would of been me you be watching

  • @senorgrande1984 He is one of the best free kick takers ever....roberto carlos even said beckham was better than him look it up

  • @BipolarNerd diego forlan is better than david.

  • @TranThanhHai1 im sorry try again

  • @BipolarNerd diego forlan kicks better than david

  • @TranThanhHai1 diego forlan kicks better than david!!!

  • @senorgrande1984 So that's why he's one of the greatest football players of all time and you're just a stupid 26 year old eh?

  • @yehimmatt Go and suck david's golden balls you twat. You would not know real talent even if it hit you in the face.

  • @senorgrande1984 Aww, did I hit a nerve?

  • @yehimmatt A little bit, it 's just you saying that he is one of the greatest pissed me off a liitle plus you don't know me. If i just stayed focused on football not just trying to be top class in every sport i played i would not of fucked my knees up and could of gone pro in football.

  • @senorgrande1984 If this, if that. You really are as stupid as you seem. If you were a real man you'd respect how hard an individual like David Beckham had to work, even like other footballers. He was told at a young age he could never be good because of his foot deficiency, but that just made him bend that ball better didn't it?

If you could take a free kick like 'he' could, they why aren't you on the field now playing for a top team? Or why not the youth when your knee was 'okay'.

    Just don't.

  • @yehimmatt It is not a case of if this, if that. I fucked up by trying to one-up everyone in whatever sport they were playing and my body could not handle it in the end. By the time i decided to play for a youth team my knees were starting to go and i had to stop. These days it is painful just to walk and even i ask the doctor i need a operation they only give painkiller which is a pisstake.

BTW i do respect david beckham to a certain degree even if my original comment

  • @yehimmatt Sounds like what a troll might say.

  • He has got a great talent

  • it would be funny if the guy stoped the ball

  • @yotzincastrejon ya, and say, in ure face! xD

  • @yotzincastrejon Maybe he did and those shots didn't make the cut

  • @yotzincastrejon anderson cooper

  • Ya man but not likely. He would have been knocked out by the shot. Always thought goalkeepers are insanely courageous people, standing there for most of the match and getting rammed by shots. I tried being a goalkeeper before in my school days and nearly broke my wrist. That was so painful and it was the last time I ever tried to be a gaolkeeper. Haha.

  • @kanzteo im sorry but you need to change your mentality XD it doesn't hurt that bad! im not saying it doesn't hurt but its not excruciating.

  • has he ever scored from a play ,like not a free kick

  • yea, he did

  • @hameurlaine10 srs when ?????

  • yea he scored in Manchester united, idk about real Madrid, and he also scored goals in La galaxy, and Ac Milan, he didn't score a lot of goals but he did score goals without free kicks. search his goals up

  • @ronal80inho yeh TONNES of times, and they are mostly fantastic. He has so much more to his game than free kicks, he is the best passer of the ball ever.

  • @ronal80inho No shit.

  • my internet balls are made of iron and weigh 1 ton each. my real balls are 3x times that.

  • @muskie1976 suck a dick

  • the news guy is anderson cooper hees on cnn now

  • i watched this video on monday, had a game later in the evening, followed Beckham's advice, and scored a really nice goal

  • Gotta love Anderson

  • Look at this 10 years old kid. Score 2 Olympic goals in 1 game. Search for "Lucas Esquivel 10 years old. 2 Olympic goals in the same game"

  • i can do that.... beckham puts it where ever he wants

  • a lot of people with internet balls I see.

  • hes not that good

  • man , i love Anderson Cooper. haha

  • Anderson Cooper - Giant tool

  • @StarFire00 FUCK YOU, you´re the giant tool asswhole!

  • @JGSS89 Good one. Your mastery of the English language is inspiring. Now go back to playing with the other little trolls.

  • @StarFire00 indeed it is. :) why dont you go and fuck yourself, you ignorant bastard.

  • @JGSS89 ok, so apparently you couldn't figure out that I was making fun of your English. You misspelled 'asshole'. Just go back to your special class and have a juice box or something.

  • @StarFire00 no idiot, I totally got that. Special class, haha well Im not in your class so I wont be going anywhere bastard. One mistake, who the fuck cares? not me so why dont you get yourself a life. :)

  • during my college years, I was practising that weekly ( more in the summer) and my accuracy was around 80% in my final year! and I am not even considered a pro in my country! how much did beckham paid cbs?

  • he is what he is simply the best at what he does your coment would never change that so keep talking.

  • infact beckham probably one the worlds most UNDER rated players in world history cuz of ppl like you he is a legend and will always be known as one the greats

  • bend it like me!!

  • 1:04 he makes a weird noise

  • ha ha ha ha call me racist i dont give a fuck but americans cant talk about football....talking about...THE SOCCER BALL BENDING IT AROUND APPONENTS ....ha ha thats so american,,,fuckin hell..its football

  • @paperandtea That's not racist... American is a nationality not a race lolol

  • did you know that futbol is spelled differently than football? If your so meticulous with the sport, perhaps you should tell them to call it by the english word... Just leave it at that soccer is the american dialect for the sport of football and be done with it... your not gunna change it with that tired and arbitrary argument... what do you think your clever or something for coming up with that point on calling it soccer?

  • no just face it that it will always be called football, aint soccer that american game wer they run around with all the padding on and a lil ball in ther hands

  • u are such a paria..how paria-ish can a hater get..im sure u can bend the ball 180 degreez and knock ur pathetic 2inch clit out..

  • 1. youre a retard

    2. have you ever tried to play a serious game (not a 10 year old rec league)

  • @VoistMagina1399 10 year old rec league = mls?

  • im from england and beckham is to good to be playing 4 L A u cant expect one player to change the hole team

  • Anderson Cooper got fucked up.

  • haha lol

  • I've got a question for the american people here. I am from England and a huge football fan (soccer to you guys). What is your opinion of Beckham now he has decided he wants to stay at AC Milan. Because AC Milan and European football (soccer) in general is at a far higher standard of play than of the MLS due to the fact the MLS is a young league. Beckham thought his career was over and went to america. He is suddenly offered a place in one of the biggest clubs in europe. He's gonna say yes.

  • makes perfect sense. i applaud his effort and desire to increase footballs standing in the US (I have lived in Germany for a few years so I call it football and am one of the few Americans that loves football more than anything), but my compatriots will never feel the way I do. he can still play at a high level and wants to represent his country in south africa next year. i do hope he comes back to the US eventually and helps to create more of a footballing desire here.

  • Naturally who is going to turn down an opportunity of this magnitude? I agree with the fact tha the MLS is not as good as European Soccer because it is young, but I believe that it is exactly players like Beckham that the MLS needs to make it better in terms of actual skill.

  • I think that it was cool that he played here for awhile but if you got offered a spot on AC Milan or a spot on LA Galaxy... honestly you would have to be crazy to pick an MLS team over any European team ( Well almost any :P) So it was fun while it lasted lol

  • aight then;

I don't really care if he stays in Europe because I personally don't think he cares about the MLS. Landon Donovan and his teammates don't just say crap about players for no reason, and beckhams poor playing in LA supports Donovan's argument. Besides, who doesn't want to play in italy?

  • the same landon donovan whos leaving you for Everton?!

  • Hey man im from Canada and the town 30 minutes away is the only Canadan team in the Americian league(Toronto FC) but all of my family is from England were very big soccer fans Well Burnley fans! I think Becham should just go to Europe becasue its totaly different in USA and Canada then Euope thats why im going to get scouted in England in sted of Canada

  • good luck with getting scouted pal, i hope it all goes well for you.

  • Thanks alot man

  • Same here if leeds and Toronto approached me id go leeds easy, because the level of play is higher in england, and we all no leeds needs some help

  • Beckham said he was going to stay here for a while. We understand that La liga, english premiere, and the italian league are much more competitive. It is his choice, but we kinda feel that he just came here and now he's leaving. He was supposed to make a much bigger impact on the game of soccer in the US than he actually did.

  • I am from Pennsylvania, USA, and I played soccer for 15 years and ALWAYS idolized Beckham ever since I was 5. I got a chance to see him play when LA played NY Red Bulls. I was estatic to hear that he wascoming to America, but I could have predicted that he wasn't gonna stay for long. I know that he will do whatever makes him happy. He just wants to play and I understand fully why he wants to move. Good for him. He will always be my favorite no matter who he's playing for.

  • @nlkeeper07, Spot on mate. Your right. I hate the Americans which say 'Beckham is an idiot for leaving THE GALAXY'...Its AC Milan for christ sake! He's entitled to go where ever he wants. I've been a fan of Beckham since I was around the same age as you were...except I saw far more of him than you did because I am from England.

  • OMG, Bruciatino, I laughed so hard at this comment that I cried. My stomach hurts :D

  • dude, that was ace.

  • LOL!!!! ;)

  • @Bruciatino HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

  • I like how soccer in the United States is never seen unless a player such as Beckham, is on an American team and shines the light on it. Other than that, no one really gives a shit.

  • soccer!!!!! yankey fuckers

  • i think there are players that do it even better than him, i dont see y he becomes famous for it

  • because his accuracy is consistent unlike other players.. show me a player that scored more free kicks than beckham.

  • Roberto Carlos maybe?

  • i like roberto carlos cause of his massive left foot, but i doubt it

  • i still think he's really overrated, i mean of course he's good he just isn't all that

  • Juninho, and cristiano ronaldo

  • haha,thats a joke right!!??

  • nawh.. its coz he scored tht middle line goal. XD im a utd fan but i totally disagree about how good he is..

  • ahahah the curve ball is one of the basics moves of football or soccer like americans call,i would like to see the americans react to a ronaldinho flip-flop or a rabona xD

  • that kick is the best but some times he puts to much spin on it and misses

  • i wish i went up to becham and tell him hes a great player but y di he pick galaxy

  • uh, it looks like some sort of amazing skill to someone who's never played (or a little kid) , but to someone who's above the age of 10, it's not like OMG IT CURVED!!! XD plus, it is amazing when you can use it like he and C. Ronaldo do.. or R. Carlos..

  • Yeah and uh, anyone over the age of 10 who has actually tried bending will actually appreciate the ease at which he performs this difficult skill.

  • which is what i said at the end of my comment...

  • it's funny how the yanks think that curving the ball is some sort of amazing skill in 'soccer'! hit the ball at an angle and it will curve, simple as that!

  • its funny how u foreign pricks think that this would amaze us. honestly i think beckham sucks. hes good at free kicks and thats about it

  • we could have told you that before you gave him the highest paid contract in soccer history!

  • yeah idk what la was thinkin wasting all that money on him, we couldve got someone with some actual skill

  • what yanks do you talk to? try not to assume that all "yanks" are similar to the ones you associate yourself with

  • i think your right man, its not really that hard and i dont even play much, its just the accuracy thats the hard part, any fool can curve a ball.

  • really? and i was thinking how does he do it? i guess i'm a complete idiot o.o

  • show's you how stupid americans are... rofl, nough said

  • Americans aren't stupid

  • signs of jealousy? 'nuff said

  • breathe anderson... breathe :)

  • he does

  • why doesnt he do that in actual games

  • he does not too much with galaxy though watch some older PK vids when he was with Manchester United hell most likely be bending it on PKs alot more now that hes with AC Milan

  • PKs? What the fuck ar eyou on about moron. They're called free kicks.

  • uh penalty kicks dumm fuck!!!!

  • rueter...beckham doesnt take penaltys....he takes free kicks....

    theres quite a significant difference...

  • I believe he takes both.

  • no offense man but im just saying that beckham has taken Pk's and i know there is a diffrence

  • he does!:)

  • he was able to come

  • fucking soccer ball :D americans!

  • Oh yes, I can play goalie too.

  • Besides, all good soccer players bend. Too bad I am injured; otherwise I play him one on one (Clean play). oh yea, and bend it with either foot; with both sides of each foot. Even running backwards.

  • show a video !

  • I am disabled elreydavid96.

  • Beckham is not that good. We know is about business and money.

  • I'm not a Beckham fan either, but he is a good soccer player, even though he is a bit ostentatious.

  • He is good, but not that good. Yes, he seems ostentatious.

  • Yes, I believe he is both. I thought I had replied to you, but apparently not.

  • i hit it like he does but my ball spins and doesnt really curl and bend and have power like he does..why?

  • You need more energy behind it (harder). I can make it spin too, and have it going straight.
