  • @TheMrHwarang Yes. There are many meaning for the word trolling. Are you going to have a giggle when I say I wear thongs?

  • If someone did that for any popular microcontroller I would buy them in a breeze.

  • Great video! Really funny and inspiring... !

  • @7:57 hopefully you didnt slept with it, didnt you ?

  • @5:18 Jizzed in his pants.

  • If only all datasheet's were like that. All others I have seen contain lots of shit I don't understand.

  • 1:36 This was going to go one of two ways rubbish or good

    One page 20,000 x 20,000mm size LOL

  • you probably inhaled the solder smoke for way to long :D

  • @truhlikfredy That's likely!

  • @EEVblog But's it's good because you won me, so now I have to watch all yours videos, it will take a while :) But it's way better to spend time with yours videos than looking for half naked blond dumb whores.

  • Dave is a kid!

  • Pretty amazing video :) I also love simplicity. It reduces time required to quickly learn the new uC. Toshiba and Fujitsu also produces some insane uC's that nobody (i mean, few guys) might have touched.

  • I recently got to use a Rabbit semiconductor single-board computer for a project, and they had a similar poster (a bit larger than what you've shown from NEC) and I had the same impression: awesome!

  • Whoa, that's gorgeous!

  • You got my interest up in NEC. I am a PIC person but have been highly disappointment in Microchip these past years. I cannot be bounded to on manufacturer anymore.

  • Dave Jones, just your raw enthusiasm makes this one of your best videos. You must have made luagh a dozen times, and most importantly informed me on documentation and the importance of it, so i will keep Nac on my list of 32-bit microcontrollers to make life easier and mabye learn alot from someone who doesnt get enough credit unless someone like you shines a light on them, good job finding hidden talent, you really are a stand up guy. Thanks for another great video.

  • Try the Propeller. It's an AMAZING chip!

  • great videos to watch as I'm progressing slowly in the second year EE. Thank you Dave!

  • Great videos,

A quick suggestion, how about a how-to series? For example "How-to design a power supply" where you go through voltage regulator selection, dc/dc boost controllers and other design considerations for the beginners like me out there. I'd use power supply as an example since almost all projects will need one, so many people would find it useful.

Thanks for doing this blog by the way.

  • shiftplusone80: Wow, what a series that would be. There are a lot of minute details about power supply design as you might expect. I can imagine a video on LDOs, a video on switching regulators, etc... with typical applications of each, pros and cons and basic topographies. Shoot I'm almost interested in making such videos just to challenge my knowledge, but I don't have anywhere near the experience that Dave does!

  • Hey Dave, nice datasheets!

One question about microcontroller, I've been working for a year or so with PICs and AVR's and now I got these PSOC's from Cypress and I'm really impressed with the different capabilities they have like the Filter's and amplifiers also 12bit ADC's . What do you think about them ? is it worth to get a programmer and start using them?
