Yea.. MoF is pretty generous with the bombs. I've had extensive experince on stage6 lunatic practice however! Probably the easiest stage6 lunatic out of all touhou when you get it down.. with the exception of the final spellcard.

@ConyoDoom Final bosses that I personally dread to fight are Remilia, Eirin (Kaguya is easier in my opinion), and Byakuren. They're all pretty brutal (to my poor skills). Out of Stage 5's, I have personal vendettas with Toramaru (curvy needle lasers, though most spells are easy) and Orin (who I find harder than most Stage 6 bosses and blocks me from reaching Utsuho). Hardest? Not sure.

Why no Extra Stage bosses? Cause I suck too much to beat one, though I've reached a few.

@ConyoDoom Yuyuko has caused me many ragequits in the past, I'll be honest. And Patchouli on any mode higher than Normal on any character other than Reimu A just destroys me.

TH08, Eirin, Reimu and Marisa are asses, and for TH06 Meiling, Patchy and Remilia nom my lives. I find Touhou 7 main story not to be hard at all, Yuyuko can be tricky at times. TH09 no comment, different style play. Never played the others. All extra bosses suck except Flandre. THERE I SAID IT I find Flandre easier than most extra bosses, with Mokou coming close but I've never beat Mokou.

I'd have to say the bombing system is what makes MoF the easiest in the series imo. As long as you have power, you can bomb. MoF is the only one which I can complete Extra because of that, I guess. SA is more difficult as it seems less lenient with the appearance of powerups.

I think the enemy's spells here are easier compared to, let's say, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. The only thing that made this game quite a bit hard is the bomb system. :D

These levels are like one big IQ test.

It measures the speed with which your brain processes things, pattern recognition, and reaction time, though. I find most of them incredibly difficult and challenging.

It must be very rewarding to finish these successfully. I can't do it on most stages.

well, i am really not the kind of guy with fast eye-to-hand coordination. Yet i love touhou, so playing easy in MoF is kinda a breeze in stage 1-5 until kanako destroys me most of the time. MoF Normal difficulty in stages 4 and up is just insane -_-

Yeah, it was the same for me as well, it just took a lot of practice. MoF is also the kind of game that takes into consideration that youll bomb a lot, which is why you have less lives than the other games
