  • People always go on about how easy and simple rotarys are etc. But they dont realise how many more seals and springs etc they have then a piston engine. 19 springs 8 orings and 15 steal seals per rotor! Easy to fuck up when re-building, thats why muppets give rotarys a bad name. A pistion engine only has 2 compresion rings a spacer and two oil controil rings and a head gasket. plus valves and stem seals!!

  • i think he getting in a hurry to run that thing

  • where'd be the best area online to read up about rebuilding one of these???

  • @robsnizzle7- i recomend the rx7club.com forum

  • Hola!

  • Ever heard of a SOCKET WRENCH?

Why won'that one part go on easily?

  • the SOCKET WRENCH come be later

  • Uguys have no clue what ur doing, is it ur first rebuild?

  • yes men .... is the first rebuild,... :| what clue? the engine is working now.......

  • @Xeleneo Yes, the rotary engine is very easy to assemble comparing to a normal reciprocating with all those pistons, valves etc..

But next time, try show some profeesionalism by using a rachet wrench with speed extension attachment and of course, the appropriate sockets. :-)

  • @zhammmy : yes men, this is for lend a nut, the torque wrench came later...

  • no comment ~.~

  • i bet that car never ran again

  • why wouldnt it?

  • Didnt learn to much. LMAO thanks for letting me watch you screw bolts on. and let me see ONE rotor for 3 seconds. Hope that car wont smoke at 8k rpm

  • i could tell you guys have never done this and working over eachother fighting to put a part on. FAILED

  • u didnt build that to start did u? u forgot the RTV to the oil gulleys. and the coolant seals on the tension bolts.

  • start looking for a super clean black fc on the cover of magazines. im about to finish up my own version of the r26b that ill just call a 26b(two 13bs together. twin turbos and crazy intake i designed, i project 675-725 rwhp coming soon to a mag near you

  • Sounds crazy, do you have pics or videos of the beast?

  • only in a rotary...they're so simple :] try taking apart a regular piston engine... 52 moving parts per piston compared to 3 moving parts per rotor

  • actualy three moving parts in the whole engine... the two rotors and the e shaft

  • i stand corrected...that makes sense. thanks for the info :]

  • Excelente material

  • Nice instructional video on how the motors go together. Wish it was longer and you had more of it, like a total tear down and total rebuild. Rotary motors are so fascinating.
