well finally I've got it.! Thank you. Also, I don't know if you have time to help me with long division but here is my problem. 8x^4 + 8x^3 + 6x^2 divided by 2x^2 + 3.
I first get 4x^2 to make the 8x^4 -8x^4 to = zero. Then I take 4x^2 and multiply it by 3 to get 12x^2. Now I have 8x^3 - 12x^2 and here is where I'm stuck. Do I end up with -4x ? I don't think I can go any further ?
@NorthernLightsglow Try watching my long division video to see if that helps. You can go to my channel page and search long division....or use this link. I am running out the door at the minute and I have not checked this answer but I think it is 4x^2+4x-3 with a remainder of -12x+9.
Respond to this video... I can't seem to post a reply with a link. So again, please go to my channel page and use the search window in the upper right hand corner to search "long division" If you don't see that window make sure you are on the upload page and not the playlist page.
I have a question. On the first polynomial inequality that you solved, which areas would you then shade in on the number line? Would you shade from -3.5 and everything to its left and then shade from the number 4 and everything to its right? Do you always shade inthe areas that make the line true? thank you
Tutoring a kid tomorrow with these tomorrow, and haven't tutored anything above geometry in a few years, so good review. Thanks for posting this!
