I'm a marine, LCpl stationed in Camp Pendleton, and I can tell you the army doesn't have stress cards. If you actually do your research, it was an experimental program very briefly run by the navy, and never involved getting a break - they were cards with numbers for emergency / suicide helpline / etc. "Stress cards" as popular rumor depicts them do not exist.
Cards aside, that stomping shit is some of the funniest I've seen. Look out silent drill platoon, you have competition. Semper Fi.
Stress cards are a myth. In Navy training a while back, they had crads listing their rights as trainees. They were not "stress cards". When trainees began showing these cards to try and intimidate their instructors, those cards were no longer printed. There never has been and never will be stress cards. And talk all the shit you want marines, but how many Army soldiers have died in Iraq? Show some respect, you're dishonoring your own Corps, by representing yourself this way.

And calling people in the Army "American Homos" is an ignorant statement considering when one signs up to be in the armed forces, that person actually has to state that they do not and will not have relations with the same sex. Lastly, I find that people who go around calling others "homos" have issues with their own sexuality so you should talk to someone about that.

The branches make fun of each other like crazy: Army-Ain't Ready to be Marines Yet, Marine-My A** Rides in Navy Equipment, Air Force-Chair Force, Navy-the best aqua taxis or jokes about Sailors all being gay to name a few. My boyfriend is a Marine and things that they do when they are bored (and post on youtube) make them very easy targets for making fun of. I am very proud of my bf and all of the others proudly serving our country, but some of the things they do when they are bored...lol

I don't really know who youre referring to, but if you are using POG in a context to insult the US Air Force&any other specialty/branch that doesn't, in your mind, involve being on the ground, go talk to AF Special Forces, pilots who run the risk of getting shot down, & the HUMINT personnel who go undercover in enemy cells/consult the people of terrorist overrun countries to find enemy cells...or better yet, next time you need air support to cover your ass, remember that you think theyre "POGs"

I'm a marine, LCpl stationed in Camp Pendleton, and I can tell you the army doesn't have stress cards. If you actually do your research, it was an experimental program very briefly run by the navy, and never involved getting a break - they were cards with numbers for emergency / suicide helpline / etc. "Stress cards" as popular rumor depicts them do not exist.
Cards aside, that stomping shit is some of the funniest I've seen. Look out silent drill platoon, you have competition. Semper Fi.

Stress cards are a myth. In Navy training a while back, they had crads listing their rights as trainees. They were not "stress cards". When trainees began showing these cards to try and intimidate their instructors, those cards were no longer printed. There never has been and never will be stress cards. And talk all the shit you want marines, but how many Army soldiers have died in Iraq? Show some respect, you're dishonoring your own Corps, by representing yourself this way.

Oh give them a break. They're all still in AIT, and the Drills (now Platoon Sergeants) make them to work on D&C and get people experienced with marching and calling cadence. Of course, those people who ARE/WERE in the military know that... for everyone else... it's okay we know you don't understand.

i have no idea...im not in the Army...im Air Force...a IDMT basically im a combat medic...Idependant duty medical technician, and we didnt have stress cards at boot camp...lol but i think the army had them for a short period of time cause they realized that stress cards are retarded...lol but hey we all do our job thats y i hate the rivalry between all the branches on who is better, you do your job and ill do mine...thats how it works in the field but in the states is a "who is better"type thing
