Personally they're to mystical and fantasy based for me, they sing a lot about dragons and kings and whatnot, which is hard for me to get into. Musically, they are pretty good, from what I've heard on YouTube.

I'm sure some people like it, but IIRC, you're original comment was that Blind Guardian had been consistently making good music. They are anything but consistent, especially if you're a fan of they're earlier work, such as Somewhere Far Beyond, which this song was on.

@DioandMaiden I agree that Kiske has a better range and power for higher notes. He still has a great voice, whereas Deris is starting to wane based on some live footage I've seen from this year. Its obvious that Deris has a hard time with Kiske's songs, however I can't imagine Kiske singing some of Deris's songs. If I heard Kiske singing Mirror Mirror, I just don't think I'd be able to take it seriously

Each singer has their great moments in the band, and both are awesome in their own right.
