One that is established on _admitted_ schemes of making up false information without any previous evidence of which is proved wrong and yet still taught through ignorance. I once heard a guy talking about how his two year old daughter proved a professor of evolutionary science wrong. There is more evidence to support creationism then evolution.

The beautiful thing about science is that if ever it does turn out to contradict itself then those contradictions will be flattened out and we will come one step closer to the truth.
The thing about a self correcting system is that over time it becomes correct. Thats the whole point, first we know nothing, then over time we begin to learn.

that has to be (one) of the dumbest religious origin stories I've ever heard. I think the bible is a load of crap (because it constantly contradicts itself and doesn't adhere to mainstream science) but atleast we have physical tangible evidence that the original texts. voltaire said 'if they get you to believe absurdities, they can get you to commit atrocities.' But there's nothing wrong with polygamy or raping little girls right? you people make me sick

Your a mormon are you? So your ok with the notion that Joseph Smith, someone who lived almost 200 years ago, was visited by angels? They gave him the "golden plates" that were written by the prophets, right? I find it funny how not only is there no proof of the plates (you think they would have saved them, being sacred and all) but that people aside from native americans were living in america before the colonials for the prophets to have written them

Skyyelit said that god exists in the way air does. We cant see it, but we know it exists, right? Wrong. we know air exists because we see evidence. It interacts with other things and it can even be physically felt. God cannot. There is no evidence for God. Even the catholics who have convinced themselves they have a rational argument, only base their logic on the idea that ( you guessed it!) God exists. Not a good argument at all
