Well, I'm pretty sure that valkyries are holy warriors. I can think of maybe 3 possible reasons why they're fighting for a vampire...

1, they accidentally got trapped in the eclipse and are pretty much freaked out,

2, they got trapped in the eclipse and the castle made them turn evil,

3, they were rejected by god for something (like for being wicked), and they went to the castle.

there is a higher secret to the witch. That is : she drops the Gabolg which is a spear forched by witches with an ATK power of 93 without anything equiped!!!!!!! but anyway nice vid i love them! also ur very good at explainin stuff and ur not to entertaining but not to borring either. 4.5/5

Great walkthrough! As for the Valkyries; you're right, it doesn't make much sense. In Norse Mythology, IIRC, they are minor female deities (serving Odin) who bring heroes to the 'afterlife' of sorts (Valhalla). As you said, it makes no sense for them to be enemies... but Castlevania was probably just reaching for mythological references and thought that would be an easy one. (Unless you want to make some argument about who Soma is. =P) Keep up the great work!
