This is pretty funny but seems like a really good tour of the most depressing towns in the country.. Anyone else feeling this?

Depression is in the eye of the beholder I reckon. I agree about Hamilton. But places like Paeroa and Te Puke are bastions of a more likable New Zealand. A celebration of our backwater nature. True pakeha pahs. Give me Paeroa over a city like Auckland, which tries so hard to be like every other city in the world and ends up feeling like it's trying too hard, any day.
