they're triplets, i don't know how to explain that in English. one triplet is made out of three hits. he hits the first two of the three. and when he hits the snare drum, the two notes on the bass-drum and the one on the snare form a triplet

@the86ersmusic o i c he starts with the hats in this one. But when i play a standard 8th note or quarter note beat i start with the bass thats just what i prefer but thats whats good about drumming there is no limits. Get comfortable with your own ways. Peace...
