Don't buy from Petsmart, When I was in America, I looked in a few and it was like a fucking animal concentration camp, Not to mention rude and ill-informed staff.

and in regards to your question, i live in ontario, canada and in pet stores baby beardies go for about 70-90$. my beardies tho i got direct from a breeder rather than a store and i paid 60$ for the pair.

  • "seems very tame tho, dosent try to get away"??? he nearly snapped his neck on the glass jumping away when you went to grab him! you need to handle them everyday.

  • Hi i had just gotten my Translucent bearded dragon in November at a reptile show for $100 and thats a pretty good price. I went to another reptile show in January and i saw leatherbacks for $100 as well....usually if u get it at a pet store u will prolly pay about $150-200...each morph is about $100+ double morphs can go up too $200+ and so on..hope this helps...i really wanna know how much u paid...im planning on getting me a female leather back as well..

  • I paid almost $200 a peice.

  • piece*

  • i just bought 2 beardies around christmas time and one is a citrus and one is a lavander. i paid 90$ a piece and its worth it. i have a male and i female, i am about 80% sure i do. they are turnin out real nice.

  • would a 30 gallon be ok for a 4 month old bearded dragon like i mean just for now till i find a bigger one its a 30 gallon breeder i have it and got notin init and everyone says its to small bla bla so is it to small if it isnt wen would i have to uprade what age? thanks asap please

  • its ok for the time being since its a breeder tank, its a bit wider than the regular ones....but i suggest you get a bigger one up to 40 breeder or even bigger in a few months. hope this helps

  • so are females smaller then?

  • my leter berded dragon i got was 50 dollers

  • and is a 1 meter long tank big enough for a 4 month old bearded dragon?

  • @henham97 more than long enough

  • how old are they in this video? in spain there 75 euros wich is around like 30 to 35 dollars

  • for leather backs?!?!?!?thats insanley cheap

  • @knifeguru350 not for leather backs

  • well here they cost a hundred something you guys are lucky in spain, and silkbacks are ven more!!

  • @knifeguru350 lol i actually though that was really expensive for one but obv not and crickets are like 3 euros for like 50 and thats like a dollar or less lol

  • wow thats really cheap nice deals you are lucky

  • how old are they in this video?

  • how u know if its a male aint it way to small to know

  • The place I purchased them from said they could more than likely pick the correct sex(these are people who deal with these lizards daily - and many of them). I purchased them on faith that they were both what I was told(1 male 1 female). I was told their guesses were 90% correct. Well it is a few months later now, and they were right, the male is a male, and the female is a female :)

  • Petsmart the normal ones are 59.99 and the rare are 79.99. 203066 where did you see a bearded dragon for $350

  • by 'rare' you mean??? leatherbacks or..... what type... 'rare' means nothing to me...

  • but there infested with parasites

  • *at petsmart but i got a italian leatherback today an he was 200

  • there are no "rare" Beardies, there are different color morphs. Like some aer Leatherbacks, Sun Bursts...

More extreme color morphs the more they cost

  • leather backs are great the difference in price in leathers is where it originated from italians or co dominant leather has the gene that can be passed on to other dargons the american or recesive leather back does not you breed that to a normal and you'l get normal babies. They are called leathers because they have a reduced scale size un like normals they lack those large round spikes on their body and have a smoother leather like scale. YOu can purchase these between 120- 250.

  • Thanks for your comment! :)

  • babys costs 130 and not rare

  • barely any vids of leathers up on youtube, and I hardly see them. Just cus you have seen them once or twice, doesn't mean they are common... Look how often you see normal beardies, they are EVERYWHERE... plus normal beardied babies cost $20... so $130 is a pretty damn amount higher!

  • I saw one in toronto for $350 a female juvi.

  • :) that makes me feel like I didn't pay to much at all. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a leatherback mixed in at a petshop, but breeders who sell them and know what they are, usually sell for $150+

  • wat is the difference I get the silk backs but wats with the leathers

  • Silks, if I remember correctly, are even more expensive(depending on color). They also are smoother but I think they have different skin feel. I am not 100% sure what they look/feel like, I have never seen one in person.
