  • Steve jobs rocks

  • man i should have done this subject for history day

  • Steve Jobs is fabulously wealthy!

Thanks to the customers who buy Apple products, me included.

  • Full House? was that Danny Tanner?

  • Nice narrator

  • Such a motivational info! Steve Jobs always keeps forward.

  • Excellent little documentary. Not as exciting as Bob Cringely's and a little dry, but good info.

  • The Macintosh was not affordable especially in 1984. With a price tag of $2,500, it was very expensive - $2,500 back then is like $5,000 today. Next workstations cost in the neighborhood of $13,000 - $14,000. The imac and ibook shown here didn't run OS X. It wasn't released until 2001. Jobs didn't found Pixar - that is incorrect. Pixar was founded by two ex-Disney employees, and when they sought out investors, it was only then that Jobs became involved.

  • Comment removed

  • really good, you know your stuff

  • Bad video

  • @OnPoker BECause the audio is very bad!

  • He's like an artist in music industry. Each release of Apple products, is like releasing a musical album. :D

  • awesome video-

  • 8:37 masterbutaing haha

  • @hey7328 wtf? spellcheck, please.

  • steve job is an syrian :D

  • Very information. Well done. However, it seems like you completely raped the picture zoom there.

  • I really respect this man we would still be in stone age if it had not been for you. And I am windows user nuff said

  • One genuinely big question I have always had is, is Job a technical genius or just a business visionary.

As a sidenote, I wish you would read Wikipedia articles to us like this, and we would never forget a single paragraph. Great narration.

  • Awesome documentary!! Really good a+

  • Steven paul jobs!

  • Halo Before Halo?

  • What a great novel his life would be!!

  • Excellent short documentary! Informative and interesting. A follow up to the modern day would be great.

  • I believe after school and all the bs that eventually intuition and instinct take over and you are gonna do what youre gonna do.

  • @hermoor

I would rather call it the past. Because Microsoft/windows was way bigger (compared to apple) when good games began to appear on the computers (what would you do as a game developer, go for the big or the small operating system).

I totally understand you like windows, because you can design your own pc for gaming.

I think windows is for the tweakers and gamers an Mac is for the average guy with enough money. Just my opinion (don't hate me for saying this ;)

  • A incredibly brilliant man and visionary. Mr. Jobs is one of the greatest technical minds

we will ever see. Apple products are simply amazing.

  • Great Documentary! Huge Steve Jobs Fan!!!

  • Great work for a high school sophmore

  • three words... I love Apple!!

  • My life won't be possible without you in this world. I am proud of your JOB Steve. You are the ONE, the MAN

  • This is a really good job, but you need to do a follow up. A lot has happened in the last 4 years.

  • Steve Jobs looks like a self absorbed asshole

  • excellent job scottdog!

  • nice work

  • he said 67m ipod sales, its crazy to think its now over 300m! plus the ipad and the iphone

  • if only the author knew what is happening now with Steve Jobs...

  • This is really fantastic

  • So the first Mac was $666.66...Hmmm I wish I worshiped an evil figure that doesn't exist too.

  • I can't believe that he could die in the next few weeks the world will miss him

  • iPod Touch 4g is best product i have

  • @GoHiper 哥 agree

  • Steve Jabs owns a PC

  • Whether you like him or not, Steve Jobs is a visionary.

  • well said !

  • @DStringzzZ There's a documentary called "Welcome to Macintosh" that covers some of that.

  • @DStringzzZ They have. It's called Pirates of Silicon Valley. (which I personally like)

  • @DStringzzZ You never seen 'Pirates of Silicon Valley'? .....its a bio drama that came out in 1999...

  • @DStringzzZ they did, pirates of silicon valley

  • Bill Gates is worth $54billion and Steve Jobs is worth only $6billion... shows how badly Steve fared by selling his Apple stock and being in exile for 11 years...

  • Get well soon Steve

  • good video.

  • I like the mac user interface much better. But so much doesn't work on mac, so many programs you can download for pc. But so few for mac....and not many games works either...windows is the future.

  • @Hermoor oh really? That's not what I experience. Mac OS X has LOADS of great, well-designed software which is beautiful AND useful. On Windows I only find apps from the big ones (Microsoft, Adobe) and even these ones are absolute crap.

  • @bessadale No games works either...and games is about half the fun with computers.

  • Very nice edited. Steve Jobs is a legend!

  • Exc video as well nice one

  • If macs are toys why all the games on pcs ?

  • Killer Appz.

  • Nice job, man.

  • Scully had a old Mac that looked like a pc

  • Thumbs up if you noticed that john sculley had a pc on his desk

  • @binkiebo No, he didn't. That's a powerbook.

  • Bill Gates is an unoriginal slime ball who doesn't have a fucking thing on a jobs.

  • I've always looked at it like Jobs was the "Flynn" (TRON) and Gates was "Dillinger", but lately I am not sure, Jobs has made several decisions that seem to be even more money oriented than ever before... I wish someone with this kind of ability to create and change the world would consider bringing it back to the people.

  • good job man

  • I can tell you this, without a doubt, that Apple will go the way of the BetaMax. Besides there is no software for the fancy machines that no one seems to want !! Why on earth would anyone invest their money in buying a machine that only 2% of the population wants? (The 8% figure above is way inflated!! who ever heard anyone ever cite 8% for Apple??? its always 2 or 3% at most !! Apple makes toys, plain and simple, a PC is a respectable workhorse, which is why American Corporations buy them! :)

  • @McDaidUSA Wow you really are stupid aren't you? Get your facts straight before you make yourself look like a complete ass. Good job.

  • @MikeyBoy117 I was kidding, hence the smiley face at the end. I was just spewing the stuff I have heard for ages about why Apple was going bankrupt.

  • @McDaidUSA Wow. Are you serious? That statement is so out of touch it's painful.

  • @Danny77uk You are right that comment is so out of touch like most PC users who say that stuff.... which is why i wrote it to show of idiotic they are.... and yet Microsoft and Windows continue to dominate corporate America... It wasn't that long ago that Apple was written off and the PC world smuggly thought they would dominate forever.....

  • holy shit he has hair lol

  • Awesome!

  • Steve 'The Legend' Jobs > Bill Gates.

  • The difference is that Apple has its own name, its own brand. It cannot be compared with any one else.

  • Very informative

  • Ever notice that the Apple computer was advertised for $666? Yeah... I can see the horns.

  • It's informative, I like the visuals... But you have bad pacing. It's difficult for me to keep paying attention to what you're saying because of that.

  • Great job!

  • i knew mac came in 1984 and it changed computers forever. i knew he dropped out of college for apple. and i know he left apple and i know everything from the first imac to now.... but didn't know all the other stuff but i do now!!

  • When he woes jung, he eated food in hare krishna temple every sunday... thats why he is so full of high values... he is much better persone then Bill Gates.

    grate doc.

  • Microsoft makes garbage that sells because because it's affordable, and apple makes great stuff that doesn't sell as well because it's more expensive

  • @lschlachter1 LOL have you looked at Apple's profit margins? They've already surpassed Microsoft in terms of market cap.

  • If you put this on another planet he can eventually buy earth...

  • Good job man! Thanks for telling us more about the guy we love

  • Hah, and this is before the IPhone!!

That just blew everything out of the water.

  • I guess sometimes you just need to kick ass if you are going to change the world.

  • I admire Steve Jobs...

  • Fucking epic! I didn't know all this about Steve jobs! He's a computer innovator! Genius!!! So if it weren't for him there would no iPod iMac ipad n my personal favorite that I'm writing this comment on the grandaddy of all electronics the one the only....ImotherfuckinPhone!!!! :)

  • Thank you so much for helping me do a assignment about him!

  • Great documentary! I was sucked in and enjoyed watching it.

  • "Thriven by innovation and an instistence on excellence, Macintosh was born.. " This is a huge fan-movie, but even so, Jobs is a genius (in marketing mainly though).

  • Steve Jobs v Bill Gates:- Gates may be richest person but Jobs is the greater innovator .... Jobs will have last laugh....

  • Wonder what Skully is doing now?? ROFL!!

  • he looks cool. he used to wear different types of clothes back then! xD lol

  • Nice project- I wish I had put this much effort into my NHD project when I did it a few years ago.

  • Documentary of the greatest tech salesman ever.

  • "Jobs never give up". I respect this man. Apple products is the salt of my external, material life. I like everything what they make. It is an Abel-type company. Not like Cain-type MS. I dont know why I feel this. But of course the internal, spiritual life is much more important, then these things... Thanks this great video, the lifestory.

  • Nice job with this. I enjoyed it. Thanks for making it.

  • @alan599999 The multicolor logo back then wasn't a gay sign.

  • someone should make a movie of this story...and if it does good, dont forget who gave you the idea!

  • @03IMPALASS there is one already.

  • Well made!

  • iPhone update

  • steve jobs is 1 smart mother fucker now he actin stupid with his iphone 4 problems maybe i can invent something hmmm

  • Name the song at the beginning

  • Awesome story

  • To me, the only difference between Apple's OS and Microsoft's is it's layout and design. Everything else seems to work the exact same. I don't know what makes Apple so "different" from Microsoft. It's all the same software and hardware when it boils right down to it. I admit Apple designs better looking computers, and takes off some of the add aware that Microsoft has on their computers, but honestly guys, what's the difference?

  • @ShindouAya like the slogan of apple: it just works

  • @ShindouAya There are a lot of differences, not least of which is the operating systems. The Mac OS is a Unix based OS (like Linux). Windows has nothing to do with Unix, it works in a very different way at its core.

Personally I hate the Mac OS, it's an OS for people who don't understand, don't like and aren't interested in computers. But I do respect its stability. In any case I'll stick with linux.

  • great story great vid

  • arrogant asshole who shouldnt have been so greedy. if he didnt fuck apple up himself in the early days by being closed source and making apple only work on apple computers. apple would have been 50 times bigger. what i have learned thru the years is that greed and money are the only thing that drivers apple. oh yeah i forgot stealing peoples idea's and praising themselfs as the inventor... fucktards

  • @tqrules so true!, insiders know the real truth! It was the genius programmers who were pure of heart that made apple a good product, and fascist dictators who really stifled the creative soul.

  • i mean good vid

  • god vid
