And Korra isn't Aang's & Katara's grand daughter, the only relation she has to Aang is being an Avatar. But Korra will learn Airbending from Aang's son Tenzin, who has a wife, 2 daughters and 1 son.

It's just not part of the story line for Korra and they have no intentions of Korra meeting any members of the gaang. She will however meet their kids :P And that "guy in the mask" already has an identity, he's the leader of the antibending group.
