See I am a big Will Ferrell fan, and thought it was terrible to bring him on since he is more of a movie person, not good for this series. But to clear it all up I found out it was actually Steve Carrell who wanted him on there before he left. They are both close friends and so I guess it was his way of making it easier to leave. Either way, awesome song.
