@Sibarita65 Called "Iaijutsu"- roughly the art of drawing the sword. Speed, Balance, control, Technique - give a sword to someone who isn't knowledgeable just ends up being a stick ..essentially bashing and hammering, give someone trained, a sword, you expect them to slice a person in half...just a summary don't rely on me though.
@Sibarita65 it is easy to learn but hard to master. The art form is called Iaido. Iaido's emphasis on precise, controlled, fluid motion, it is sometimes referred to as "moving Zen."
