The reason it looks worse is cause you're looking at the armor without the bonus for wearing it the bonus for wearing dragon armor makes it better than daedric of course it'll look better if you see the daedric armor with the stat boost and the dragon armor before you get your bonus for wearing matching armor and whatnot
