Two things... one the daughter looks so much like Bourdains brother, and two... notice how the farm house is very similar to the house from Viva La Bam... same area of West Chester.. perhaps same acrichtect. discuss.
Holiday? Well .. i´m an atheist but i still call it Christmas. Strange how political correctness poisens everything! What next ? Anthony smokefree, as a teetotaler presenting us only vegetarian shit ?
@bowman2062 Lmao... now someone sounds like they're not got their Christmas Spirit on? :) Lol, I'm atheist too, but I love Christmas. I bought my Brother The Portable Atheist for Christmas, I think that's a touch ironic.
That´s a great present for your brother ! I never tried turkey on christmas. We allways had marinated pot roast or beef roulades. Thanks to Anthony i will give it a try this year. And for serious reading under the tree ... Hitch22 :)
@bowman2062 I took a gamble that you were probably a Hitchens fan like myself. It's a true stroke of luck that I got the book... I'm not a believer in fate, but I gave up looking, even decided online was too risky in terms of delivering in time, and was scouting around the BIG book shop, when I literally stumbled across it in the Religious section. I must add I wasn't looking for it, and the shop didn't have it on their register as it was an import. A brilliant stroke of luck, and a good read!
@bowman2062 Oh, and that happened TODAY. Lol. Seriously though no Turkey on Christmas? Where the hell do you live? Hitch 22 and God is not Great are first and second on my to-read list. I don't think he has all the answers, no one really does, but my god(!) that man is pointing morality and thought in the right direction. What did you ask Santa for this year?
Germany. Turkey isnt so common over here. Goose yes, also duck., but not turkey. Its a bit ... BIG .. for the average 3 person household. But like i said ,.. i will give it a try. Hope it fits into my oven :) If you like Hitchens .. take a short look on my channel. There are round about dozend and more playlists full of Hitch ;)
Well .. lets hope we get broke. Without welfare checks the "rare birds" will disapear very fast. Cant take to long. We already bail for Greek, we bail for Ireland, next we will bail for Portugal , Spain and Italy. And then it´s finis caput, it's curtains, ...
By the way .. the netherlands also shall have some problems wirh "rare birds"
@bowman2062 To you and all other "call it Christmas" whiners, the reason they use the term holiday is because it generally refers to Christmas AND New Years (as well as Channukah, Quanza and others). It is easier to call it a "holiday" special rather than a Christmas, New Years and Possibly Channukah and Quanza Special. I am against usless PCness as much as anyone, but for Christ's(!) sake, not everything has to have the word Christ in it!
