Yes, I made it tricky!! Regular human logic would dictate that it takes twice as long to get dressed as to get out of bed, but this person really likes to lay around in bed!
Aw, I worked it out, then realized that Noak explained it about a week ago.
By the way, if you wanted to be annoying, you could interpret "gets up" as already being out of bed. Of course, assuming an 8-hour work day, that would give him 1 hour and 45 minutes daily to eat and sleep.
Very close, but not quite there yet... Listen to the first five seconds again to make sure you fully understand that part. I purposely made it a little confusing :-)
9:01-9:58 is 57 minutes, 19 to get dressed and 38 to get out of bed. It will take him 114 minutes to get to work, or 1 hr 54 mins. He will arrive at 11:52.
whoops! just read the comments. ah, well.

twice as long to get dressed as get up is 2x + x.
3x is to drive to work
9:01 to 9:58 is 3x so x = 19 minutes.
driving to work takes 3x which is 57 minutes
9:58 + 57 minutes is 10:55

Yes in this case "gets up" means "starts to get out of bed". I will try to be more clear in future problems.
