now the movie is pretty much the same as the book i read the book and loved it and on the 14 when the movie came out i watched that it is a must see brill film.

yes he still gets frost bite and ends up in a wheel chair. he does die from a gun shot wound.but even after he is died he still can come back.they changed the name of the restront where they have there first real date it is not a thai place its a place called the bowtie.

I almost missed it, but the place they go for their date is the "Bo Thai", so it is a Thai place. I saw it 2 times and want to see it again.

Henry is a much more sympathetic character w/out showing his relationship with Ingrid. I did miss Kimy. I think the movie was good, but the book is richer, better. They changed the ending in the movie, but it was still moving and satisfying. They did a great job keeping the feel of the book. I enjoyed your clip. Thanks!!

If you're married you'll understand how important it is to have those people in your lie who support you. Clare and Henry's friends families should all be in the movie as well as those characters that Henry and Clare were with before meeting each other in real time. It adds depth to the characters and shows that they actually chose to be together and it wasn't just fate.

I had the problem of finding out about the movie before reading the book so the whole time I was reading it I couldn't get Rachel or Eric out of my head as the characters. Maybe that's a good thing. But when I read my sister's keeper (before knowing there would be a movie) the people I had in my mind for the characters was not Cameron Diaz or Abigail Breslin. So I guess it's sometimes better to know beforehand so you don't ruin it when you see it. BTW where is the official trailer??

This book has intrigued me for a few years now but I've never actually read it as it seems like a bit of a chic book and I'm a fella. I really liked the story of The Lovely Bones though...should I bother with Time Trevller's Wife or is the book as cheesy as the song that plays in this clip?

this is one of my favorite books and even though i'm curious about the movie, i can't let myself see it because movies never live up to the book. and it's a long book so a lot of parts will be left out, and names will be changed, it will be disappointing. and even though i knew rachel and eric would be playing claire and henry i still don't picture them in my mind when i read it...but eric bana is HOT

I always imagined Henrys hair to be less styled, black, long andslightly hanging over his eye ['til he got it cut before the wedding, of course] and kind of wild.

I also pictured Clares hair to be a more bright red... It just doesn't seem so vibrant.

This is a truly brilliant book.

I have never had a favourite book until Time Traveler's Wife came out. I can relate to it in so many ways (not the time traveling part unfortunately lol), anyways... I don't like the idea this was made into a movie.  I've heard it is only going to be 1hr 30mins long. Not long enough to tell the story. This should have been made into a mini series. People better not assume the book is bad if this movie ends up bombing.

According to imdb it's on "post-production" again.Either they have some serious issues editing the movie, because of all the time traveling or it's not going to be in cinemas but on DVD eventually.
