you guys are idiots. Cowboy Bebop wasn't even on AS during 2005. The main reason why this game never made it state side is because the American game market was over-saturated with too many blockbuster titles and games in general. There was no way this could have competed with Halo 2, San Andreas, Resident Evil 4, Half Life 2, etc.

@rumbazz It didn't have shit to do with the other games coming out around that time, and the game was gonna get released in around late 2006, pretty much 2 years after all those games you just listed came out. The game was most likely canceled due to the Namco-Bandai merger at the time.

Just the fact that this idea for a game hasn't been snatched up and milked dry surprises me. They have one of the most clearly amazing story lines in anime, as well as an idea of humanity in the future that is flawless. What self respecting nerd wouldnt go out and buy a game, where you get to zip around your galaxy in your own, personal spaceship. And then pick up random contracts where you get to make a living being a badass. I would honestly play tell my fingers bleed....

I LOVE COWBOY BEBOP! However, this game looks OK. Though with a concept like Cowboy Bebop, theres a lot of potential to make a spectacular game out such a series. Therefore I think that Bandai or any other game company could do a lot better job. But overall, this game here was at best, a decent game.
