HELP!! VEGAS WON'T OPEN!! ~FIXED READ DESCRIPTION~

Hi! I have the answer to the problem with Sony vegas 11 !

I clean Registry HKLM/SOFTWARE/SONY and HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/SON­Y!

I have the same problem and two days i made many install,but without progress.

When you clean registry you can Restart windows! That,s all.

All i've done with my vegas pro 11 is: uninstall, delete from registry keys "vegas pro 11", install again, patch, and then run program and paste k3yz, and DONE :) Vegas is working.

FIX: Un-install the program then go to computer>program files or program files (x86)>sony and delete the folder named vegas pro 10, then re-install and you will be able to crack it again so crack it then use the codes, if it comes up as trial the go to help>enter serial number then find a key. THUMBS UP SO PEOPLE SEE!

Simplest fix ever... all u have to do if it stopped working is re-crack it if you had it cracked before this happened... however if you did not have it crack then idk what could have happened and you should crack it anyway if you want to keep your registration that you payed for :). hope this helped! heres the crack: w_ww.mediafire.c_om/?gob69bioa­bqeks6

Not a uninstall reinstall, but actually replacing the files stopping the loading :D Guarantee it to work. No more installing, works first try!

The reason Vegas Stops when you update or after 30 days is because Sony knows that your trial period is up, and that you have a fake serial... THIS WORKS!

After you deleted all previous install and registry ( search on youtube other video) install the Vegas 10c.

It won't work with the DIGITAL INSANITY patch! It work with other patch in orange window can't remerber the name. Just download from torrent Vegas 10c.

I tried dmytrocool's solution using my 64bit vegas 10, and I found vegas100.exe to select, but it said I cant set DEP on 64-bit files. My station is 64 bit.

Other advice? And yeah it was about 30 to 45 days out from original installation and adding a patch or two.

@dmytrocool Go to system properties and advanced system settings then where it says performance click on that and then on the Data Execution Prevention tab, make sure "turn on dep for all programs and services except those I select" is on and click on add which will then let you browse around, browse to the sony folder in the program files and find the vegas80.exe file and add that and apply, that's it. Start up Vegas and see what happens. <3

@chickensandw1tch well... your projects are saved to ur comp, not the program. so if you update, you can still access them :D and if you do drag the projects to a USB make sure you put the files you used in it aswell, or when u open it, it will say something like: Files missing. it will show 2 different ways to find files... just click the 2nd one :3 and click where the file is :D

Judging by the responses I've gotten on my previous comment my theory seems to have merit. For some reason the patch is not uninstalling the internal clock written into the software therefore disconnecting the program after 30 days as it would for the trial version. Maybe someone who knows more about the technical aspect of hacked software can chime in with their two cents or possibly even a solution?

Everyone please read this! You need to uninstall vegas pro 10, but instead of just reinstalling the same version, you need to install Vegas Pro 10.0a! You can find a download for it by searching: Vegas Pro 10.0a, MAKE SURE IT'S 10.0A! Make sure that when you install it, that you make sure to click on install current version. Otherwise, if you click on update to newer version, you'll just get the same problem as you had before.

but when I run the program my mouse loads for a sec and then nothing happens.

I watched the processes in task manager, and vegas100.exe runs for one second and closes itself.

YESSS!!!!! I Fixed it!!!!!!!! okay... this is what u do. The problem is that one of the files is probably corrupted. But if you reinstall it, it won't do anything to the shared files folder. So uninstall it, delete all the files in the "shared files" folder in the c drive, then reinstall it. It should work.

When sony released 10b update all this crap happened.. Just try and downgrade to 10a, using host files make sure "activate.sony.com" is on your list. Also if possible just try and adding it to your firewall..
