@troopant the second chord is an e flat 9. notice that when he plays that g flat Maj 7 in his right that he is playing an e flat bass in the left. that technically makes that an e flat 9. then it goes from c sharp minor f sharp minor back b Maj. that's what's happening in the first part of the progression.
