@puraverita Oh I guess that makes sense. At first I thought they lost it while underwater, but then I noticed some of them just letting go on the way down. I'm sure those paddles could break your nose pretty easily...

@knotwrite Not only can it injure you if you're still holding it, but you're less likely to brace yourself safely for the higher drops (notice on one of them the guy uses his arm as an impact absorber while leaning forward after throwing the paddle).
