steph is great but i think warriors should build the team around monta. monta is top 3 most dominant guards in the nba. he gets to the basket at will, is a great passer, and incredibly durable. steph might be a little better as a point guard, but is no where near the threat monta is on the offensive end. ideally both of them should stay together because they are probably the best back court in the nba. all the warriors need is a dominant defensive big man.
@lxseto93 Do you sincerely mean what you say or is it just that you'd rather see the team revolve around Monta because he's just a flashy player and volume scorer?
@juzz4laughz i do mean it. monta is flashy, but he is also efficient. he commands the double team and can dominate a game any night much like kobe bryant or dwyane wade.
@lxseto93 I respect your opinion, but Monta has been "running" the team himself for the past three years. It hasn't produced a winning record, so why not give the reigns to Curry? (It's worth a try)
@juzz4laughz first of all, monta was injured for most of one of those seasons. 2 years ago the warriors pretty much only had 9 players for the entire season. last year they had a new coach, and were one of the most improved teams in the league. monta has tried his hardest and led the league in minutes played for 2 straight years. the warriors bench has been a joke and the front court is pretty much non-existent. you can't blame ellis for the losing record.
@juzz4laughz Why give it to Curry, he refuses to protect his ankle, and hasn't shown he is a true point guard. Curry and Monta are small people and have shown they can work together once this season. Warriors need to turn it around now, or Larry Riley and Jackson have their jobs on the line.
I haven't seen Ish Smith play but hopefully he knows how to take care of the ball. I know everyone has been expecting some good play out of Charles Jenkins but I don't think it would be fair to expect him to be able to run the offense already. I think we need to sit Curry down for a while until he gets that ankle strengthened. I honestly think Curry is a championship waiting to happen and he is the obvious piece to build around for the LONG term...
@hawaiianballa95 currys gotta grow a sack, seriously tweaking ur akle back peddling on defense should not be this big of a crisis at the nba level should it?

@lxseto93 No one is blaming Monta... I just asked what the harm in shifting roles would bring. You need to cool it, buster.
