@asa76mx Well to be quite honest, what you have said there is..well...rubbish! Black Sabbath are not satanics, they may talk about the devil! But dont most rock bands? Also most of there songs are about what is going on in the world! For example there 2nd album paranoid, which was on about Vietnam which was an issue when the album was released in 1970. Id rather stick to the music i love, rock/metal!! And play it, not do nasty things with it! But im not a religious guy! Personally , my passion for metal derives from Iron Maiden stuff, not Black Sabbath or Ozzy. It's different for my dad, who also loves metal but he prefers Sabbath to Maiden, claiming he likes the heavy riffs more (and I love melodic n' heavy approach of IM). That makes me wonder if anyone else went the same way...I mean that you, unlike the great majority of metalheads, choose only one of those classic metal paths to build your taste in heavy metal?
@AdrianSmithfanboy and don't get me wrong please. I'm aware of the fact that both of those bands contributed a LOT in creating the awesomeness that we know today as heavy metal and I respect Black Sabbath a lot. It's just that there actually is this distinction between classic types of heavy metal and some people, like me, like a certain type more.
