@elikemc2 It was almost everything, comfort over power. Also, the V6 version starts on around 90 000 euros/$107 000 Us, and that´s a bit to much for a Passat ;) This car is sold no longer in my ownership btw.

Das ist der schönste Passat, den ich bis jetzt gesehen habe. Schiebedach, automatischer Kofferraum und traumhafte Felgen... Habe selber einen Comfort-Line 3C, 2,0 TDI mit 17 Zoll le Mans Felgen, schwarz, DSG, Pioneer AVIC 9110BT elektr. Sitze usw. und ähnlicher Ausstattung, aber dein Passat ist noch einmal um Einiges schöner. Sieht superklasse aus. Ist das ein Highline oder ein Sportline mit Extras? Das Video ist klasse gemacht -fast professionell. DieMusik ist super.

It's a 2006. If you're gonna buy the Passat, choose the 2.0 TDI, less noise and more power. U can also ge tget "R-line" package almost includet now (Everything is paintet and a more R36 look) and also get the backup camera and the Dynaudio soundsystem.

i believe the injectors are being manufactured by different companies anyway (bosch i think) and most likely you find the same company's products in other car brands diesel engines ;)

I'm a bit worried about em in my PD 2.0tdi tho, .. cold starts aren't very smooth, and i already got a electric wire issue fixed for one of the cylinders by vw dealer, engine noise and vibration was slightly higher before but no visible performance loss,

nevertheless .. love my passat to death :)

mazinais31, to be very specific, the problems I was talking about were only seen in 2.0TDI PD motor code BKP with Siemens injector units, manufactured 2005-2007 (or mid 2008) I believe. Bosch injectors are different story and they are much more reliable. However, as soon as they come out with the commonrail engine, I sold the old one and got a new 2.0 TDI CR that will hopefully behave better...

how's the comparison? is the commonrail alot quieter? the PD unit is perfectly fine on most occasions but in city driving the "sharp" noise it makes can be a bit intrusive

also correct me if i'm wrong but i think siemens is now some kind of part of the Bosch group...

so is the blaupunkt unit

(there i was thinking why the new navigation systems are manufactured by siemens not blaupunkt :) )

not sure if Siemens is a part of Bosch group, but the faulty injectors are definitely made by Siemens VDO. The electronics in the PD will eventually break down (or is it the coil?). I'm following the local VW forum and there is no week without at least a member loosing one injector in various situations, more or less frightening. The CR is different. Quieter and less violent in the 1800-2200 rpm's, it resembles the petrol engines. Still, the car is fun to drive and very powerful. No smoke at all

I can do that! It's adaptive Xenon lights so they turn with the steeringwheel, and there are lights for the corners in slow speeds.
