yeh its not 100% accurate for sure, absolute readings are handy tho, ie water temp. as the Colt comes standard with only a light to warn of temp. problems.. rather stupid I'd say on a sporty motor.. tnx :)
Beware of people praising this thing. There is a core team of people trying to help sales. I've seen them on various forums. They even try to sell bullshit acetone systems in the hopes that people buy scangauge to measure if it's doing anything (acetone - which does nothing).
Give the guy a hand, clap clap clap. Yeah, and sooo??? I wanted that device to work at first, then got upset because they raised the price, and then after further investigation I was further disappointed because of the way the thing works. It does not have access to precise data like fuel injector pulses or anything like that. It has to use pressure and air flow data, which is a stab in the dark.
Some cars' computers apparently don't make available the MAP (manifold pressure) or MAF (mass airflow) data, making it more of a voodoo guess. Of course Scangauge doesn't make a list available of which cars will have a better chance to make a more accurate guess to provide real time MPG calculations....
where is the OBD2 plug located on a right hand-drive CZT so i can connect my Scangauge?

BHP and MPG *HAS* to be guess work, using numbers from the MAF and/or MAP data. It can't be accurate.

I too wonder the accuracy, but I have heard a lot of reports that say it is quite accurate.

A quick Google search for "a1mint" shows that you are constantly bashing the ScanGauge 2.

't. Might depend on the car.
