  • @GJNCA It's possible Brandon palyed the part a little bit after 1975 as well!

  • see, ronald is cool when he is not acting creepy with brugers and shakes, lol

  • 2 people are vegetarians!

  • @GJNCA It can't be 1970 because Grimace was only introduced in 1971, but as Evil Grimace. Then he had 4 arms. He wasn't changed to the two armed Grimace until 1974.

  • Yes, It's him, It's him. It's Earnest T. Bass. Kewl!

  • I recognize that Ronald voice! It's King Moody as a previous poster said.

I had a McDonald record that I got for my 6th birthday years ago. On the album cover, it said Ronald McDonald is King Moody.

So yep-this is the same guy.

  • questioning your sexuality? check my profile out! msg me! lets talk!

see my "vids" online now before youtube takes them off again At

  • I'd laugh if, after all this happiness and cheer, they yelled cut and Ronald said, "It's about f***in' time!" .. then lit up a cigarette and scratched his butt.

  • 50 cent gift certificates HAH!

  • there's no more mcdonaldland now.

  • danceing burgers??

  • dam they try to brainwash the fuck outta kids, gotta get em earrly...

  • Wow, so that's Howard Morris (the clean-shaven man that tears up the script)... he did dozens of voices for Hanna-Barbera and other cartoon studio voices back in the 60's... I think his best known live action appearance was as Nero's usher in Brook's "History of the World" pt.1 (Comicus, you're on)

  • Not to mention "It's me, It's me, It's Ernest T [Bass]!"

  • I never watched "Andy Griffith" and I only found out about Earnest T Bass yesterday... talk about strange timing. I mentioned his role as the Usher from "History of the World because it tortured me for years... the voice was so familiar but I could not place it.

  • Howard did indeed have a very recognizable voice and he got around. He did indeed do extensive voice work for H-B--he was Mushmouse, Mr. Peebles, Breezly The Bruin and Hillbilly Goat. He also did Beetle and General Halftrack in the Beetle Bailey cartoons, and was Jughead on The Archie Show.

  • I hate Mcdonald's myself but seeing this was actually pretty funny. Mostly because seeing how far it's come from those commercials now.

  • Perhaps this was produced for a PBS program or something! Still need seeing this.

  • I believe that actor's name is Squire Fridell

  • Oops.. that would be King Moody.

  • Beat me to it. I'm a year late though!

  • Who is that in the Ronald outfit? Weird hearing him talking a bit out of character.

  • King Moody

  • Yes, I see that Bass's career just took off after the Andy show

  • Love the interviewer smoking a cigarette on set.

  • LOL! I noticed that too. For a real sign of the times, you should see a Braniff Airlines commercial showing off the new fashionable uniform with passengers, some smoking...

  • That would've been commonplace even as recently as the late '80s... possibly early '90s! :-)

  • ...more popular than CHRIST. Capt Crook got canned, the original R McDonald died of a heart failure. McD's also gets CORPRATE WELFARE (money) from the uS gov to spend on thos comercials. No food stamps for the needy, but $ for McD's to sell, sell ,sell.

  • Can someone post a video of the "worlds smallest violin" thing from Resevoir Dogs for this guy? Thanks!

  • I love collecting Rare Footage, but where the hell did you get this?

  • 'It's like sending a hamburger to a friend, or a shake in the mail' lol

  • Holy crap what would a .50 cent gift certificate get you now? Not even a cup to hold a shake in. :0

  • That's Ernest T. Bass from the Andy Griffith Show!

  • Anyone for McAcid?

  • what a crack ass clown!!
